Actually I order that module and it's seems different a bit from the module you tested. I'm going to use to feed 2 TPA3118 modules to 26v. I'm upgrading my Bazooka bass tube twin Ta8225h system. Input from car battery with engine running 14.5v - - >26V The TPA3118 would be fine with 2 ampers

That dual schottky diode is actually supposed to be the blocking diode from the inductor to tje output capacitor. That's how boost converters use them. I noticed the inductor going to the drain of the fet and then branching directly to the diode while the other pins of the diode are gong to the positive output terminal.

Any idea if the LTC1871 would handle an input of 3 to 4.2v with a stable output of 10v @ 1.4amps for short periods and a normal operation at 600ma?
@robojax6 жыл бұрын
at 03:24 (click on 03:24 to see it) I have shown that there is a power MOSFET, at the test shows you can get 4 times of 600mA you can get at 12V output watch it at 12:18. Yes definitely it will work because you demanding very low power.

Can I use this to charge Lithium Iron Phosphate battery from a car battery?
@robojax2 жыл бұрын
I don’t remember if this has constant current or CC (you have to watch and find out) if it has CC then yes. For for one cell set voltage to 3.65V and for more cells multiply it bye that number. Then set the maximum charge current. Less than or equal to the capacity of battery.

@robojax4 жыл бұрын
you can't do it with this because this does not have CC or constant current. Your batter will die if you charge it without controlling the current (ampere). See this video I've explained the module and charging battery kzbin.info/www/bejne/npyvdGl7mLieoqs

its a crappy product but that doesn't mean you can claim fail on something thats is outside of the specs! the board is limited to 75W output max! and it will drop voltage to the same level becuz thats the way is intend to use (hi power LED and such with constant current) so plz read the specs and then claim the device is fail at delivering the specs.

I did not because sellers on eBay or AliExpress or Amazon simply put the details from datasheet. so people should see the result at the condition this is sold.

@@robojax Input is at 3.7 V - I need to know if you can draw an output current of 2A at output voltage set at 5V which is not shown in this video . Thank you.
@irfantat4172 Жыл бұрын
You are trying to give 12 V from the input and get 30 V - 5 A, ie 150 watts from the output. Well, don't you ever calculate how many amps should be input from the input. 150 watts / 12 volts = 12.5 A. According to the manufacturer's data, you can give a maximum of 9 A from the input. In addition, according to the manufacturer's data, the maximum power of the module is 65 W! A little reason and logic!

@robojax6 жыл бұрын
NO. The input current can go above 6.5A.
@peterdkay6 жыл бұрын
It appears unit fails when input OR output current goes significantly above 5A. e.g. at 3V input and 36V output it will fail when INPUT current goes above 5A. This means output current cannot go above 0.5A at 36V with 3V input.
