47 hp doesn't sound like a lot but it's plenty if you don't need 10,000 rpm to get it. My NC700X make about 47 hp at 6,240 rpm & has a bore & stroke of 73 mm × 80 mm so it pulls like a tractor. Interceptor bore & stroke is 78 X 67.8 Both bikes have 270 degree cranks.

From my experience, no, not really. Though adding too many free flow components might start compromising low end torque and power delivery unless you get a booster plug/ Custom fuel map.
