do not buy it. the front forks are trash the frame is trash and breaks and bends from normal riding. bike runs ok but not good. Has no power. You would be %100 better off buying a used 90s name brand bike. Unless you only ride 4 times a year and only on the road dont buy this crap

This bike is sold in South Africa as a Big Boy TSR 250. It has a little more power in the South African variant, but only like 4hp more. It is sold with a 2 year 20 000km warranty, pre assembled, and has a PFI done on every bike sold. It really is a regular purchasing experience of a fairly competent bike. They have made a good name for themselves in South Africa and it is a good option for a cheaper starter bike.

I was going to buy one of these but went with the Pitster Pro XTR 250 instead. After researching "China" bikes the Kayo brand seems to be the best. All of them use the 223cc Honda clone engine. I'm very happy with it though. 1200 highway miles and zero problems. I've uploaded a couple videos on youtube if anybody's interested. "It's not what you're riding" as Sean says.

I owned one by CSC called the TT250, same bike but rebadged. It’s a great city mover if you don’t wanna go faster than 50mph. But you absolutely get what you pay for, it’s honestly a better experience to buy a used dirt bike or road bike. A new KLX125 makes the same power sadly

All these Chinese bikes are pretty reliable. Just a Honda clone, probably the same motor as the 80s XT250. Every engine in these small Chinese bikes is a Suzuki or Honda which is discontinued. The quality control is hit or miss but if you can do your own maintenance, they can be great. I had an "online order" Chinese 125 I got for 400$ that ran great. The ground wire had come loose and it stopped running which is why I got it for so cheap. It had a few problems like that, which ended up being something stupid and simple. I ended up selling it after letting all my friends thrash on it, and it still worked fine. When it comes to dual sports, it seems like the value for money is pretty good. The newer dual sports cost an arm and a leg these days.

The speedometer are junk. One of the first things I replaced with an accurate digital Speedo. Rest of the bike is solid and dependable.

i got one for $800, dropped it from whiskey throttle, replaced the clutch handle and rode it like nothing ever happened. My point is this is a great first/learner bike as they are cheap and tough.

i had one of these before. the kickstart was cancer. the passenger pegs got in the way. there was only like 2-3 inches of engagement on the kick starter. the battery size is rare to find where i live and this brand forgot to ship me front brake pins.(my pads fell off and locked the rotor to the caliper. if you buy the hawk 250 or the viper 150 always make sure you check that every bolt is there.the viper 150 was a good(Ish) bike. it always started first kick, even after months of sitting.if you buy a cheap Chinese bike, please get an Apollo(doesn't matter the model.)

The early/mid 1970s Honda XL250 K0 and K1 would be better comparison. Specs pretty much as described. They did the job well and today are very sought after.

Actually, except for the engine, this bike is made by Honda, here in Brazil Honda launched this bike by the name of Honda NXR Bros. It started as a 150cc and 125cc, the New Honda Bros that we have here is a 160cc. But that one you have is the with the frame of the old one. Even the panel is the same. The Key hole too with the lock using the back of the Key of the bike. But It os a pretty good and pretty famous bike here.

The speedo is broke because you didn't use the metal "toy" it came with. It's to hold the brake and speedo lines so they don't get destroyed. You didn't use them, the speedo got destroyed. Not Hawk's fault, that's on you

These Chinese bikes were my first introduction to dirt bikes and motorcycles. Just bought an orion rxb250L as my second bike. There is definitely more power and torque as the rxb250L has a true 249cc motor, and my old bike was a 229cc. The orion was also 3 grand. My old bike was 1600 bucks

Any Japanese motorcycle has a transmission that is smooth as butter and an engine that will pretty much last forever. Every Chinese motorcycle has a very clunky transmission. If you don't tighten down every single Bolt go over it with a fine tooth comb and use Loctite or something you will find that it's going to fall apart on you. I have heard about that from people that own them you will get a few good years out of it them then it's time to sell. I still own my 1984 Honda 650 Nighthawk never had a problem.

The older 80s bikes had steel frames with plastics everything and allot of them are still around today....They were heavy but fast. I’m sure that people will get every bit of there 1400 dollars out of these bikes. Being air cooled a person could replace a set of rings in a couple hours....he’ll if you get the Amazon Warranty then it probably would last allot longer. I would bore the cylinder over to get a little more power.

I hated mine. I had it for about a month and immediately SOLD it. Mine wasn't EFI and ran an old school carb. I couldn't get it to run worth a shit and the carb was just shit. Always stalling and no power. I sold it and bought the SSR 189 which ran flawlessly.

Just look up rps hawk motocheez is a channel on here he does some in depth reviews of this bike. I have a 2015 with 7,000 miles on it only had to replace head gasket had an oil leak. Speedo is junk i use an old cell phone for gps speedo 62 mph is top speed.

It's the rite price, that's for sure.. And if it will hold 50 mph. For about 6 miles.. The rest of the speed limits are 35.. A few 40..mph.. But mostly 25..mph.. SO that's into the closest small city.. Within 5 miles the other direction.. Miles of state wildlife area dirt roads.. And old black top road's.. Lots of small town's... So far.. Everything is just what I'm LOOKING for.. DELAWARE and the eastern Shore of Maryland is .. Flat, you can stand on the Sunday newspaper and see for 30 MILES.. I'll be having a closer look at the extension warranty... HELL I'm may get two.. So if one breaks.. I'll still be riding, waiting for the returning one... Thanks so MUCH... Wide o

I had a Roketa back in the day and the plastics were horribly brittle. Have they improved the plastics at all? The sight glass in the brake fluid reservoir dissolved like a breath mint. The material qualities are what scared me off completely.

I have this bike and any time it rains the engine floods with water in Wich is why I am selling it... Such a headache that rains ruins the experience because the engine must be flushed Everytime it rains
