Test; URAL SIDE CAR

We turn to three wheels - and go back a few decades in terms of motorcycle technology - and take a long, hard look at the Ural motorcycle and sidecar outfit. Is it really a BMW copy? Is it any good?

Well since i was a young boy and my father decided to drive side cars...... i loved it, since i was 2 years old i was in the sidecar and never went out. its just something you need to get used to but when you get to that point its really great. with my dads zundapp ks750 we have been all across europe from the isle of man tt to the polish border.

This is a great way to adventure, but even greater, is the ability to get your family and friends involved as well. Good stuff. I'm gonna' get one.

Prices haven’t gone up much since (I guess 2016). 578000R translates into less than than 3200 Canadian. Is it possible to buy there at factory in Irbit then ship bike and self back to Canada from London. I took in the TT in 2016. It would be fantastic to take in all the Irish racing and then ship home.

You said (6.40) you were testing a Tourist...actually you were in a Gear-Up. If you didn't find it comfortable to ride...change the seat. Also, the bike has improved quite a lot in recent years, that's why Ural have found a global market.
