so you think that the 10k difference in weight has no bearing on the outcome. look at the tractor. it has no side weights or front idler weight. that makes it around 48-49k total. the versatile is 59k factory.

It's not the number of tracks that matters. It's the amount of belt touching the ground that creates tractive effort and these two look pretty damn close. Of course you can't see if the Vers. has 36" belts and the Cat has 30's or vise versa.

@@MonsterTracksStudios it doesnt matter the keyword here is how much pressure per square the tractor puts on the ground. That´s determined by the weight and the area that the tractor has on the ground. the challengers´ track are basically double the length on the ground then 1 track of the versatile so area is roughly the same. it´s just that the versatile has a lot more weight and most likely also more torque. You could build something with 1 wheel that could outpull any tractor. It would look absolutely stupid and ridiculous and nobody will ever build it but it´s possible. you just have to understand the physics behind it
