I like the fact that it feels very natural and real, not like many websites on which the tones are too marked.

Thank you for making this, it's very helpful! I only made one mistake and I'm very proud of myself. To everyone struggling with hearing tones: I've been learning Chinese for about 4 weeks now and I do quizzes like this almost every day. Needless to say, it paid off! I recommend Dong Chinese, they have a good Pinyin drill. But after some time, I got used to their pronunciation, so I came here to practice with videos too ^^

Omg I remember watching this video about 5 months ago and It was when I decided to learn chinese and of course I only barely got it right some of it. And omg, five months later I literally almost got it all right 😭😭😭 except for one question that has neutral tone and for some reason my brain literally just forgot that it even existed and to be confused with 3rd tone even thoughts I'm actually hear the difference 😭 And I'm probably still able to immediatly distinguish it If I remember that neutral tone existed 😂😭😭

They are almost the same but the third one is very low in the middle, and is in a creaky voice.

When you know the word , you could easily guess it if practiced a little . Learn words and hear chinese , you'll be perfect .

Does anyone know whether the tongue touches the upper teeth during the J sound or not? In theory, it shouldn't, but native speakers sound like their tongue touches the upper teeth when saying J.
