I've been watching all of these in the last couple of weeks to help me study, and I honestly can't believe it. 30/30! I guessed well on a couple of them, but I'm quite proud of myself!

expedient has a negative connotation. It means achieving something that is beneficial but in an immoral way so the immoral answer choice is a bit ambiguous

Providential means essential too. but fortunate seemed more appropriate here. But still it was somewhat confusing.

In dictionary, Expedient(no.8) was written as - convenient and practical although possibly improper or immoral. So according to answer choices there was "immoral," which in my opinion should be the correct answer of that question. If we see the positive connotation of "expedient" in the dictionary, that shows convenient and practical which doesn't necessarily mean beneficial.

expedient doesn't directly mean immoral, it basically means doing something that is necessary, doesn't always have to be immoral

For number 24, why would the correct answer be preclude? Preclude means to prevent or make impossible, from what I've studied

Good video as always. I had a question about number 8. expedient. Why can't we choose B"necessary"? I just looked up in Oxford dictionary for "expedient": useful or necessary for a particular purpose, but not always fair or right. So I thought it should be "B. necessary". You are right that we should think about the context, but honestly there's no context in this question. I just don't know how it comes to "beneficial".
