+Tanicia Killsnight I have absolutely zero native american blood in my veins. I'm as white as they come (sunburn sucks) BUT in all seriousness this song is amazing for so many reasons. Musically, and the message it says. Native Americans are disgustingly forgotten and swept aside. America Needs to understand and appreciate the hundreds of tribes who dominated the land before the greedy Europeans stole there land, yeah it happened can't deny it. If you know history you will appreciate this song regardless of skin color/ race ! Too the people who have Native blood running through their veins STAY PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE !!! and always stay metal \m/

Caps lock or anger =/= immaturity, but since you're being a smartass about it I'll humor you. Let's start with the realities bit. No, I don't know everything, but judging from your comments I can safely say I certainly know more than you. You're trying to tell me that demanding my own race apologizes for countless atrocities against people of color is racist? No, it's not. I'm allowed to be disgusted by history, and I am. I'm sickened by people who think they can play victim when they're a part of privileged, oppressive groups, even if they don't oppress themselves. Though I'm not going to give you the benefit of the doubt, seeing as your icon is literally a person putting the Jewish star of David into a trash bin. I dare you to tell me that's not blatant Nazism/antisemitism.

***** either way, Europeans populated Europe 43,000 BC. the X mutation, which has been calculated to be 30,000 years at the least, would mean it had been seperated from Europe for a longer period of time than it actually was in Europe. Anyways what you are wrong about is the point of the video is not to be ashamed if youre white, the point is to show the discrimination of the California and United States governments against Indigenous peoples of the area, and the success of the restistance from the people. Chuck Billy's song Allegiance sort of reflects discrimination against white people but is not racist, and in fact is there to show the frustration and views of many of us. Some very ignorant and stupid people are racist against white people (or racist at all for that matter,) but come on, race doesn't really exist, its the 21st century.

I'm Seneca Iroquois from our Allegany Rez in NY... I think it's amazing that after everything our people have endured from Colonialism, Genocide and Assimilation that we are still here and have taken up the fight for our Mother Earth on multiple fronts. Not against only a "White" mentality but a global mentality which imo holds little regard for our Mother Earth and the generations that must live after us. I served four tours in the Middle East as a Soldier trying to live up to my peoples warrior traditions and in hindsight... it didn't leave me feeling like I had truly accomplished that by serving in the Army. It wasn't until I began protesting against those oil pipelines and fracking that I truly felt proud as a warrior... Taking on issues that not only effect us as Natives but all people in our lands and the world really... It was amazing to be among so many of our people bound together in a common cause. So to the young Native men and women I would warn there are plenty of causes us Natives can fight for and against here at home so be weary of enlisting in the U.S military to fulfill your desires to live up to our ancestors as warriors... There's plenty to fight for that doesn't require a M16 on our very own lands that can help you fulfill our warrior traditions. Be careful in deciding to loan them your strength to bring negativity into the world. Nya:weh

I am not Native American in blood, but I stand behind this message. My blood is Celtic/Germanic, but I do believe we are all one and I really love Native American culture. I actually learned the spirit dance, made medicine bags and have a totem animal and name. I actually believe my druidic ancestors were also medicine men and that the Celtic wheel cross nobody can explain was actually a medicine wheel. Look also at Northern European Saami culture. They are really close to Native American culture. The shaman drum ... White raindeer or white buffalo ... We are all one. We forget. Trouble, wars ... Be a warrior for what is right and never a universal soldier.

But never forget, until the white man came along, your people had never seen or experienced the losing tribe getting rights. They were just annihilated. I only tell you this, because my whole life Ive only heard grievances from Native Americans. Always negative complaining. I think losing in war and then being here with benefits forever doesn't suck. I do admire your culture probably more than any other though.
@bellmeisterful2 жыл бұрын
@@donovincable5842 I realize you've only heard one side of the story but before the Native Americans were beaten, no loser in war had ever received any rights, only death. Even among themselves, stronger tribe beats a weaker tribe, they got nothing but killed. Some enslaved. I dont know of any country today that has given more to their Natives. Australia has them, Canadians have them, SLovakia...many many more. America has given them a lot here. But all we ever hear are grievances.
@Isaiflamand2 жыл бұрын
@@bellmeisterful Thinking that all native tribes were beaten in a war is just seeing one side of the story too or seeing to much western movies . Not all tribes fought the white men instead they just helped them, then gradually as the white men became more numerous in their territory just lose it or got taken adventage of.

One of my favorite music videos of all time. A great, thrash tune. It packs a whole movie's worth of story into a not-quite-six minute video. Plus, most of the actors are people from the rez and I believe it won a prize for best short film.

kind of weird to have a song line like that while playing a type of music pretty much dominated by white people.
@barneyyleaa74755 жыл бұрын
@@Iconoclastithon I think it's more about the fact that most people of power are white men. It is often a lot harder for a woman or a person of color to make a career and gain respect, especially from white privileged men. Not saying this is always true, but way too often.
@Iconoclastithon5 жыл бұрын
Nonesense. Most people of power in asia are aisans{men or women} in Africa- blacks{men and women, mostly men, true}, in mid-east arabs,etc. You make the mistake of thinking the majority of westerners{whites, in Europe whites are the indigenous/native people of that continent, in north America- u.s. and Canada- which were created by whites and for most of their history until very recently were majority white in populace and therefore in power as well}- you make the common, RACIST [and sexist} fallacy of equating that a majority of the people in power{and ion terms of populace demographics} are whites therefore globally most if not all people in power are whites, which is flat out false. most of the worlds countries{which are FAR more racially ho0mogenous even now then the west is, ergo- they are far less tolerant of other races than whites in the west are} in terms of demographics and therefore in power are Asian{in asia}, black{in Africa}, arab in mid-east,etc,etc. Nonetheless, though the west{Europe, Canada, u.s.} were majority wshite for a couple hundred years- that has changed drastically over the last several decades....white/western countries have allowed for more and more racial and other kinds of diversity{including in terms of gender power dynamics} than any other countries/cultures in the world{which most others are exteremely racially and otherwise homogenous and demonstratably therefore far less tolerant than western nations and white people}. Up until several decades ago whites and males were more favopred{by the populance in general} to be in positions of power, wealth, and influence, but in the last few-several decades western countries have done away with that and there are more and more people of all races and both genders and various sexual orientations,etc, who have gained more and more wealth and power and influence- because it is illegal to keep other races and genders,etc down intentionally; we still have a slight majority of whites and/or men in positions of status and power{but increasingly more and more of them are of other races and women and so on; because we have something which no other nations/cultures in the world TODAY or in human history have or have had- racial and gender equality of opportunity/under law}- we still have more whites and/or men in power by a slight{and ever decreasing margin} margin not because of institutional or social inequality or "keeping down" but just because more men than women are interested in certain positions and more whites than people of other races are interested in pursuing tghose careers and positions; keep in mind also that in the u.s. and Canada Asians on average are doing better than whites or any others economically- because Asian cultures peoples have been trained by their cultures to certain traits{to work hard, to certain values, to be efficient,etc}. On average in north America Asians are doing better than most whites or most blacks/etc on average- economically, look it up, this is a fact. Furthermore the genders are coming to increasing equal parity{though under feminisms demands women actually have several legal rights and social privelages that men do not have; this is fact- look it up}, but more men by free-willed choice are going into certain careers that pay more than women do{by their own freewilledc choices as well}. Most whites and most men are not magickally specially privelaged or inclined be oppresors, Everything you've said is a false narrative propagated by globalist progressives}Orwells INGSOC from his book "1984"- read it if you haven't}, misleading spin that is a half truth at best and a flat out lie pushed by progressives -whom are overtly racist against whites and sexist against males; it is a racist and sexist propaganda that purposefully ignores a shitload of variables to push anti-white racism and anti-male sexism. There are and have been through history male and female aristocrats/monarchs/elites/etc in every culture/country- of every race that have equally oppressed the majority populace- the serfs{of every race and gender}.

I am Russian, but I am in solidarity with the feeling of native Americans. I admire the history of the Indians and their aesthetics, which they popularize in this clip. The clip turned out to be very powerful and bright, I am overwhelmed with feelings. The music really unites and inspires. I am a big fan of the film "Dances with wolves" and this clip is a great example of preserving the spiritual traditions of small Nations. Bow to the authors for their hard creative work!

Nice song! It's great there have made its own video. There's something about the direction (not only production) that makes me feel it could be better, but its a good story to show. Keep it True, Testament!
