Testament - The Bible in Animation - Elijah

It is always difficult to be an outsider, but Elijah's plight as a sole, persecuted prophet of God took true faith to overcome. Alone in bringing people to the true God, he had to prove that the prophets of Baal were false, incurring the wrath of Queen Jezebel and her weak husband, Ahab the King. Despite the defeat of the prophets, Elijah s work could not be completed until he found the one who would take up his mantle and his work.

@@robertbreschard3493 Oh yeah? Well..... nah! Lol This is why I'm so into different adaptations from scripture though. People put in their own little quirks in them, and while I really don't care for extra dialogue or story lines to capture an audience because there's no need to (the written scripture is encapsulating in itself.... The Holy Ghost is quite the writer of attention getting in historical documentations) I have to say I really liked this one. It didn't run away with it's own storyline from scripture like many other adaptations do. The operatic story telling was beautifully done. Opera in animation.... I actually wish they'd do more of that with the writings of scripture either in plays, musicals, tv shows or movies. My grandfather a few decades ago when I was a young teenager had me listening to opera and classical music, and by golly I actually enjoyed listening to it. I went to the Erie Philharmonic a few times to watch different symphonies when i was a kid. The different conductors just seemed to have so much power over the orchestra with their movements in directing the music. I love music in itself but never was quite able to "master" any instruments. I wasn't exactly built for it, but still I mess around being older now. For some it's the ear (listening), for others it's playing, for others it's composing, and still for others it's conducting. EVERYONE has a part to play i music in some way. What a gift from God that he gave us music my friend.
