What if the heir is in bankruptcy? or, marital difficulty? or, wants to tax-effectively distribute income to their children? or, leave a legacy for future bloodline children?

Our updated Death trust is very easy to understand compared to our old revocable trust that had 50 pages. The revocable attorney had her name & firm's name on it seem like every other page. I didn't trust her & wasted $2700 in 2004.

For simple estates a simple will would be fine but it’s not always the case. You haven’t considered anything like the asset protection that the trusts provide

Very poor view of testamentary trusts. Your example is a very simple and straight forward one. Often these matters are anything but. Especially given divorce rates, tax liabilities need to protect vulnerable or immature beneficiaries. Your view point is a very narrow and ill thought out. totally disagree with the points made.

Testamentary trust are garbage. Too many liabilities not enough guarantees. In part they’re too complex and I not easy to receive accounting.
