slow, pretty high consumption for mhew but all mhew lattely consume more then none mhev vehicles!! this Astral eats more fuel then older Quashqai with 1,3 160hp and its much slower too then that same Quashqai from previous generation

MHEV is for eliminating the turbo lag, in this car it probably adds 15 hp or 20 hp max

@@Mr11ESSE111 it's the CVT, it slows the car down and has worse fuel economy than the DCT. Besides, this 1.33 engine is good enough for a Megane. This Austral needs more torque. On this type of vehicle a 2.0 TDI DSG would do the job, both in terms of performance as of fuel economy.

@@Mr11ESSE111 it's about the implementation, for example Volvo S60 B5 gasoline has noticeably better fuel economy and performance than the T5. Another example is the Audi A4 35 TDI, the 163PS MHEV is more fuel efficient and faster than the 150PS version. Both cars have been tested on this channel. But, yeah, most of the implementations on the market are poor and result in the exact opposite. Nevermind the reliability, which time will tell, but I a have a feeling the MHEV will need more service and it's going to be noticeably more expensive to service it
