Been hanging out for some more vids from you guys. Seemed to have a habit of rolling to port side, especially in that jump. Was it list sensitive? Or is it a bit of torque roll from the motor?

There was one landing we need to write to the council about because we hit a big pot-hole in the ocean but other than that it was a very comfortable ride. Solid seating, grabs rails and foot pegs all helped!

Always brace for a landing - you never know how a hull will perform. You can get most hulls to slap if they get a bit sideways while quartering a chop.

What did you think of the Suzuki 150hp. Do you think it would suit the 580 half cabin.

It’ll be a while until it gets the reputation of the 140.... but it felt solid and plenty of punch.

For the 580 Half Cabin we would definitely recommend the 150A or better still the 150AP. These engines are packed full of goodies like the multi stage air induction, off-set driveshaft, self adjusting timing chain, Lean Burn fuel efficiency technology and off course they are super smooth and quiet whilst operating.
