Yes these are awesome, my friend bought a pair 2 months ago and he is totally in love with them. I also have a pair of bose qc 20's and I also love them (I prefer the in ear design and dont mind the small battery that powers that active noise cancelling and sound processing). And honestly theyre both awesome. The active noise cancelling on them is truly equal and the only thing that gets by are loud voices. Walking around after school and I can hear my music just fine on the lowest setting possibleIe. If your thinking about getting a pair of either of them (or bose 15's or 25's I wouldn't hesitate as Ive tried all 4 and have to say they all rock.

I have had mine for 1 years now and I think they are great they are just so comfortable the sound quality is excellent and I have just figured out that they can connect to my TV which I didn't know was Bluetooth enabled so that's even better

Darn I wish you did reviews like this more often! The new(ish) Sony noise canceling headphones (MDR 1000x) looks amazing but I can't find anywhere to try them out but I've heard people say they are better than the bose! Plus it's touch sensitive!!! Might want to check those out!

I have the Series 1 headset and I love them. I was really looking forward to a review of the Series 2 because I wanted to know if I should upgrade or not. Bose makes expensive products, but all of their products are amazing, mostly due to their noise canceling and comfort. Anyways, I'm just happy I didn't get shafted when I bought the Series 1 six months before the Series 2 launched. (I don't really use Google Assistant)

I bought a pair earlier this year (QC35), and they're the most comfortable headphones! Even after 20+hrs of flying internationally I didnt have any sore ears or head. For the price point, they're expensive, but you're not for one moment let down on the experience and quality.

My son bought these for me, (early birthday present), because I was going to travel, and hate airplane noise. We'll just say I am a senior citizen, and I am only a little tech savvy, nothing to write home about. I absolutely love these. I did play with them on the plane as far as taking them off my ears to check the noise, and oh Lord just let me say, I put them back on quickly. I use them at the gym with my you tube play list, and it's so wonderful I can't stand it. I'm not distracted by other noises. While I was in the airport waiting for my flight I called my husband, and wasn't aware I would be able to talk to him with these on, (not real tech savvy), it was great. I did walk away from the gate, as I didn't want people listening to my conversation, but the conversation on both ends was very clear. The only negative I have is, at the gym when I was lying on a bench they did slip, but I do have a small head, and I could probably rearrange the headband to a different position. BUT I do love these, and they do cover your entire ear.

I actually owned this, used it during a flight from Melbourne to Singapore which was roughly 7 hours. Gotta say, loved the noise cancelling. The sound is great, and I agree the price is a bit high. But, it was money well spent :)

My series one stopped working and it took me like 3 weeks to get a replacement from Bose. When they finally showed up they sent me a brand new series two. So far it's a great headset, Bluetooth is more reliable than series one and build quality is superb. Haven't used the assistant button much but I don't use assistant anyway.

The customer service is also great as i had the series 1 for a while which broke on me amd didn't turn on so i told bose and the same day they responded and said about sending them to bose to be checked which took a week but they found out it was bad and then they sent me the series 2 free of charge as i was in warranty so great headphones and even greater service

I have the series 1 and I've had them for probably about 9 months. I love them and use them for everything - including gaming. They are so comfortable that I can't wear any other over-ear headsets anymore because comparatively, other headsets are SO uncomfortable. In my experience, they charge much quicker than advertised and I can charge them for an hour and get back to 100% from 0. (I have not timed this though)

I have a series 1 set, I agree that I definitely won't upgrade but I do use for gaming! The delay on them is slightly noticeable when in high pressure games such as CSGO but great for most other games. When playing games that the delay is too noticable, I simply use it wired with ANC turned on.

The earcup is actually made of metal. Jimmy from JimsReviewRoom confirmed it when he dropped his pair and nicked the earcup. The metal underneath showed up. Also I have noticed that if you wear the headphones without the spectacles, then the isolation is better. I wear spectacles and have noticed this to be varying depending on how much the frame juts out.

As someone who does a lot of traveling and has a set of theQC35 series 1's, it really sounds like all they did was add the assistant button. [PS: as far as gaming, they work just fine as a wireless headset/mic combo] There's a reason you see so many people on planes with these, the noise cancelling *IS* well worth it ^^

I have the quiet comfort 35's 1st gen, they dont have any fancy 7.1 surround sound but audio quality is on par with any other mid-high range gaming headset I've tried, you should definitely give them a shot with gaming :D

So how do they compare to the MDR-1000X or WH-1000XM2? I have had limited time with the first QC35 and MDR and they both have some strong artificial sound "improvement" going on. Compared to passive mode it really hurts the clarity and it even sounds resonant at certain very specific frequencies (4-5kHz area), but that might be because of the extreme NC situations I put them through: A store full of people with a high ceiling.

Not sure about this version, but there is something I've noticed on the QC30s. The cancellation blocks out low frequency very well, like fans and jet engines and such - but not conversation. So what happens is this: the actual level of the conversation is much lower than normal, but it's more noticeable due to lack of other sounds to compete with it. This means the overall experience may not be what you'd expect.

Had these stolen from my car about two weeks ago. God did i love them. Best Headphones I have ever had. Helped me with so many Issues. They do have some great use as a gaming headset and are really well made for that. Great mic and sound for that. Tad overkill on sound. Overall highly recommended.

PSA: The series 2 is exactly the same as the series 1, but with the added button for Google Assistant. So if you don't need that, save yourself a few bucks and buy the series 1. These are some really awesome headphones, I bought them for some really noisy co-workers in an office, and they drown them out perfectly if I'm playing some music as well.

I earlier bought Sony and it used to do auto noise cancellation shut off of 20 mins, and was useless for Airline travel. I am basically looking for noise free sleep on the plane :)
