Think this video is lacking. Would have been nice to mention things like water resistance on the feet. Showing how you would zero it in a real scenario since you'll be putting the fish in with additional water, net, sling

I can't work out how they would do that accurately so you make a very very good point. Least with standard scales you zero with a wet sling and then get a more accurate reading

Unless the digital scake has the ability to be zeroed once and not lock on to a weight. But again not mentioned in the video

Sorry but I just don’t see how this can actually be a credible safe product ... it costs more than a traditional cradle and a set of digital Reubens which are regarded by many anglers as the best scales on the market, takes longer to set up than a traditional cradle and the digital read out is a small black box, surely that should of been designed better and be either on a lanyard so you can hang it up or able to sit in a stand or even better has an App you can download and save weights etc on your phone ?? in order to safely handle a fish and transport from the water you still need to utilise some kind of weigh / retaining sling, in fact many venues actually insist you only transport fish in this way including the folded down landing net used to land them so in the interest of fish care you still need to be using a sling. I didn’t hear anything mentioned about how the scale can be zeroed to compensate for this ? There is no cover for the cradle which would help shield any fish if need be whilst sorting out cameras or during hot weather ? I wonder how this will perform sitting out all night in sub zero temperatures which generally drain batteries and then you’ve got to independently recharge all 5 parts and there’s a reason cradles usually come with swivel mounted wide mud feet ? Sorry guys at ND I think this is a good idea poorly presented 😔

Do at test with home scales, put them on your bath Matt and weigh yourself then put them on the hard floor and weigh. 2 different weights! Exactly the same will happen here.

I'll just stick to me Sonik sling, Ruben scales & mat - looks like an absolute faf to set up especially in the dark. Every decent angler knows it's bad ju ju to have shit like that set up on the bank before any fish are landed. What about if you needed to move too? - just another piece of kit to pack away. Interesting concept but don't think it's going to change the world. If I was going to try and reduce the faff when dealing with a fish on the bank then I'd make a sling that could be used like a net to reduce the amount of handling and reduce the chance of accidental damage.

How about I just hire two people to weigh any fish I catch, it would be cheaper!!! You still need to move the fish to and from the water in a sling and hold it for a picture so I really don’t understand what it is saving. Fair play for reviewing the product well, but think I’ll pass I’m saving for a gold rod pod first 😂

When I seen the talks about this I said it would be a flop from the very start, since then I got rid of every nd product I owned as I was embarrassed to be involved with them in any aspect, my takes on this cradle are it's not adjustable for uneven ground and not every lake offers flat pegs so the safety is worse with the risk of tipping and if you do set it up on flatter grounds that means more transport times and a slip trip or fall could kill the fish no matter how good your grip is, other is by time you've turned everything on and zeroed it that still takes longer than grabbing any scales out your bag, best way net the fish unhook the fish in the water rest the fish in the net if possible still in water while you get your gear sorted matts cradle cameras and scales, £300 £150 yer but nd being nd ramp up the prices on gear not required the same with the wrist bands when your buzzers go off the reciever does the same thing in vibration mode, good review but as said from the start it's not for everyone just the nd team and sponsors in my opinion, now the ideas out the bigger better brands will come up with better ideas from seeing people's comments

Looks like yet another totally unnecessary invention that requires power to function. It looks over complicated to assemble over a traditional mat and doesn’t really offer any better weight over a set of reuben’s and matt either if you go for the right type imo. I think anybody would be insane to stump up 300 quid for one given there are other options for far less money and why would anybody want yet another powered product to do a job that can be achieved with reliable mechanical devices? Just a gimmick!!
