I smelled mostly cake while warming strawberry lemon cake. I warmed a full bar in four warmers in my open layout. It smelled good for a few short hours. Didn’t last long at all. I like it but won’t repurchase. I vote peace lily and raspberry hibiscus tea.

Just did strawberry lemon cake. I added an 1/4 cube of lemon sorbet. Lasted about 12 hours. Not long lasting but everyone here like it. I have the same results with mango shortcake. Wish it was longer lasting.

I think Strawberry Lemon Cake smells like Cap n' Crunch Berries cereal on cold (which I don't mind) but I liked it a lot on warming. I used 2 bars in 7 full size and 1 mini warmer in my open concept (kitchen, dining, living room space with normal height ceilings) and I had decent strength and throw and it lasted 2 days with most warmers going 24 hours. I leave the element warmers on but turn the bulb warmers off when leaving the house or going to bed. Thanks for your videos! I would love more info on how to bump up the scent in a bedroom. I know I watched strong scent videos and even your video on the type of warmers but would love more info on placement of reg warmers and mini warmers in a room (elemental and light bulb warmers).

My general advice is to avoid outside corners and outside walls to start. If using more than one warmer to space them out maybe diagonally. Sometimes using one 25w bulb warmer and one 12w+ element warmer gives a good mix of performance. You can always purchase room sprays for scents you love but wish were stronger to add boosts of scent here and there

@@aliciavilas5411 I try to. They tend to be colder zones or drafty for some. Also those exterior walls puts your warmers usually in far corners of the room. Try to position warmers closer to the middle of the room if it’s possible. Good luck!

Woodland Meadow and Soakin Rays for me! Melting with Mallory referenced Mango Chili for Mango Matcha as well! The more reviews I watch the less clear I feel about which to order lol. Typically there is a trend, but some bars are receiving wildly different review. Yes, different noses, but it still seems even more so than usual. Yes I heard Mallory say that when I watched her video last night!! (She and I seem to agree on many things as I’m nodding my head watching her, plus gravitate towards quite a few similar scents) Are you finding the reviews varying based on cold or warm? Also is it strength / performance or scent appeal? The only videos I’ve watched so far are cold sniffs (which aren’t super important unless right away you know a scent really is NOT for you) so I’m curious. In general I’d say if you have access to samples or scented stickers that’s the best way to decide what ones at least work for you in scent appeal.

@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Good question - I’ve watched warm reviews from Elizabeth Scenes & Scents, Robyn, and Amy Scents & Songs. Though each have very different scent and strength preferences, the notes they detect are so different. Soakin Rays review is a good example. They;ve said tiare flower/gardenia, sun block, neroli/orange blossom. Those are such different notes and none are picking up the notes the other smells lol. There were a few others too: Woodland Meadow, Banana Leaf & Bamboo, and Peace Lily. I’m assuming pour dates are the same since they ordered the kit, and was then wondering if location/temperature played a roll. However, though Amy warmed during unseasonably warm temps, I believe Robyn and Elizabeth were still in cold temps at the time. Very interesting indeed!

Hi Patricia, my strawberry lemon cake experience was the exact same as yours..seriously. No longevity at all. The notes I got both warm and cold, same as you. I loved the first maybe 6 or 7 hours..bc that's about all I got really. It smelled very much like L3's (Vendor)Strawberry Pound cake pumpkin Pecan Waffles. I actually love that. It lasts longer than the SLC. I'm disappointed to hear that Mtn Sunset is similar to Coastal Sunset. I don't care for that scent and I especially dislike it in the bathroom cleaner. But I love Mahala Coconut. I would like to vote on Raspberry Hibiscus Tea and hear your thoughts also on Tropic Nectar. Thanks so much btw, for doing this. It really is somewhat of a job. Not only do you have to pay attention, use your wax, but what about having to smell something you don't like, lol...If I don't like a scent, I have s hard time getting thru it, so I don't. 😁

Thanks for your SLCake feedback. I was hoping it would work for me but I struggle liking strawberry scents so it’s not a total shocker for me that it didn’t. Performance sealed the deal. Haha- you are right. TT has become a main part of my melting every week. Sometimes people ask (or challenge) me as to why I don’t melt more of my favourites…it’s hard to juggle everything and I have a big house. I do love it though but sometimes it’s nice when things are quiet in Scentsy-land.

I tested Strawberry Lemon Cake in my basement, which is a pretty big area. I used 2 cubes in a very old full sized warmer with a replacement dish that doesn’t quite sit right, and I very happily played CandyLand with my daughter for an hour down there. It’s definitely a fitting scent for CandyLand. ;) I prefer light scents, but I didn’t have a problem smelling it, and when my kids went down to play later, they said they could smell it too. 2 days later (but less than 48 hours), I went down to grab something and I could still smell it! Fortunately, I don’t get the waxy scent. I don’t think lemon when I smell it either, but I believe the lemon is toning down the milky sweetness of the strawberry/vanilla and brightening it up for me. I definitely get a LOT of the browned white cake with hints of strawberry and vanilla. I’ve tried mixing Birthday Wishes with Strawberry Rose or Strawberry Champagne Truffle, and neither of them were quite right, and lacked the zing and brightness of the lemon that hovers under the surface. For me, this has replaced Strawberry Rose in my Club! (Partly because I was getting too many Strawberry Rose, but it was the best strawberry scent I could get, for me.) Oh I forgot to mention I have 1 cube of it going in my small bedroom, in the Cinderella Mini warmer, and I enjoy it in there and would say it’s probably a 4 in strength. I can’t sleep with it on (I don’t normally put anything on in there, with an infant in room with me.)

I liked satin sheets- the common thread there is the sandalwood- but didn't find myself reaching for it often. My daughter liked it a lot though, so maybe I'll have her try out coastal sunset. I tried Strawberry Lemon Cake yesterday. It’s not a very strong scent, but it did well for me in my living room and kitchen. I have two warmers in each room, and I put two cubes in each warmer. Strawberry lemon cake was too light for me , I wish they would make their scents stronger , not a repurchase for me.Tfs 😊
