It won't stay that way, the Lord is doing a new thing. Allow Him to complete what He has started in you. These idols become a soul tie, where two become one, and when the Lord wants it to come apart. It hurts when you have gotten entangled in a net and your caught up in it, it has had it's hooks in you. See this as a thread and its pieces being torn apart, it won't feel good, it will hurt but you will learn from it all. The Lord wants to rescue you from destruction. You will be free and you will heal in time, it will all be for your good and His glory. Wait, watch and see. My prayers are with you.

@ JessicaPhillips - Another thing sister, I smoked cigarettes from 13 to 27 off and on, anything menthol and enjoyed it. However, I knew it was evil, I knew it was hurting me and it was sin. I struggled with this addiction for so long, and begged God to take the taste from my mouth and deliver me; He did. I am 31 today and am not even tempted any longer like I was. I submerged myself in His word, and prayer. I was persistent like the widow in Luke 18 (please read this) she was persistent in asking and asking and asking and she wouldn't stop until He answered. You do the same sis. The Holy Spirit if living in us, is greater than any sin you are in. Sin is no longer your master, YOU are a slave to Christ and through Him, YOU can do anything. @Say Yes Ministries, hello sister. I'm so glad I found your video which I think the Lord guided me to it. I've been called out of my situation to because the Lord showed me it was sinful and of the flesh. But I've struggled and couldn't get out but God has been with me through all of this. But I am alone and no one knows what I'm going through or have to go through. This is just the beginning of my journey to getting free from it. I've been through so much mentally and emotionally and haven't even started through the grieving process yet. But I love God more than anyone else in the world and I am married to him first and foremost. Jesus is everything to me and he has been do merciful to me and kind and been by my side the whole time. It's nice to know I'm not the only person who is going to go through this and that there are others like me that have faced the same situations and God has brought them through it. @@texican5619 do you have support around you? My struggles have been difficult because I do not have any support. I speak the truth. There is no one, no family and no friends. It's just been me and the Lord. Sometimes I get afraid, because there are so many other things about my situation then just the adultery. An idol that was in my heart as well. I just didn't know it until God revealed to me what it was. Not to mention verbal and emtional abuse that I suffered as well. People have abandoned me when I needed them the most but I've forgiven them because Jesus wants us to forgive and love one another. Jesus is who I trust and rely on completely above man. He has strengthened me by his Spirit mightily. My realationship with him gets stronger everyday and I hear the Holy Spirit speak so clearly now. I'm really not trying to get pity, that's the last thing that I need. I need prayers and deliverance. My hope is Jesus and my trust is in him. @@elisha5509 Dearest Sister. Jesus will definitely help you and give you victory over this. I know because the Lord let me know that I was in adultery after being remarried for over 20 years. I thought it was alright to divorce and remarry because my covenant husband was a serial adulterer. In fact most American churches teach that the so-called innocent spouse can remarry while the covenant spouse is still alive. The Bible says differently; only the death of a covenant spouse frees the remaining spouse to remarry (Romans 7:2-3 & 1 Corinthians 7:39). One thing that is sure is that you must get out of the adulterous relationship. Those in adultery will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 & Galatians 5:19-21). You must forsake the sin of adultery or any other sin for that matter. Please continue to pray and seek God's face and ask Him for strength and guidance on what you should do, when you should do it and how you should do it. That is what I did and the Lord lead me and guided me every step of the way. I faced much opposition in obeying the Lord and most of my family has rejected me for standing on God's word regarding divorce and remarriage adultery. Fortunately, I now have the support of a few people once I shared with them what the Lord told me about my adulterous remarriage, but in the beginning, I had no support except from the Lord. He was the one who carried me through the toughest part. So trust in Him with your whole heart. He alone can see you through this trial. I pray that you stand with God and obey Him.

Yes, because Jesus's blood is what He will recognize, and the spot and blemishes must be covered by the blood, there must be atonement and if we are not repentant, our sins are not covered by the blood. If we do not accept Jesus as that atonement, who washes us and cleansing us before God, but go on in sin - there is no more sacrifice for us according to Hebrews. And if one continues to go on in sin, without a will to change, then the Holy Spirit does not reside in them and they are not reborn again. One who does not pick up his/her cross and follow Jesus, does not abandon this world and its desires, is not fit for the Kingdom of God and will not inherit it. The Lord is faithful and His spirit is being poured out, and many are turning praise God. Keep speaking, rebuking and encouraging the body and those who are lost. God Bless Sarah

Thanks for asking. So I was not married, this man was married. I was the other woman. It did impact my relationship with God, I needed Him to help me rid me of my flesh in this season. It was like fiber being torn from fiber it hurt so bad but that idol I had in that man was sinful and destructive. He had to go, I had to go. He and his wife were separated but did get back together praise Jesus and they from what I believe because the Lord gave me peace, have worked that out. However, anyone working something like this out has to give over the idol and be sure of it, like literally repent and turn from it. There must be forgiveness between the couple, they both have to be willing to work it out and forgive and trust the Lord to see then through it after adultery is committed. I am praying for you dear brother if you are going through this. God Bless you.

I married a divorced woman at 19. A few months later I filed for divorce. 3 years later I was saved. I married a woman that had never been married and we have raised a beautiful family in church and love the Lord as does she. That was 30 plus years ago and I asked forgiveness for my adultery(married to the divorced woman)when I was saved. And I just accepted that I was forgiven but I watched some KZbin videos on divorce and remarriage and now I am confused and doubting that I was forgiven. Am I living in adultery?

The bible does speak on divorce and legal grounds to divorce and too many are divorcing for the wrong reasons and do not have grounds and are sinning against God, themselves and their spouse. Yes, I agree there is no favoritism here, divorce is not in God's will. God does not put everyone together nor does he bless every marriage, so many get married in vain and under false pretenses. God can restore and turn things around for our good but God is requiring us to go into marriages as whole people, who have been built up, healed and know their identity in Him, so that divorce is not an option.

There are no biblical grounds for divorce and REMARRIAGE (Matthew 5:31-32, 19:9, Mark 10:12-12, Luke 16:18, Romans 7:2-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:39). And if a person does divorce or finds him- or herself divorced by their covenant spouse, they cannot remarry. They must remain unmarried or be reconciled with the covenant spouse (1 Corinthians 7:10-11). If they do remarry for any reason while the covenant spouse is still alive, they will be committing adultery (Romans 7:2-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:39). This is a salvation issue because no adulterer will inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Galatians 5:19-21). Also, if you research to find out what the early Church fathers in the 1st and 2nd centuries said about remarriage, you will find that they said if you do divorce or find yourself divorced from your covenant spouse you cannot get remarried while the covenant spouse is still alive because to do so is committing adultery. It was not until the 16th century that churches started to change this doctrine and drift away from the Biblical teaching on divorce and remarriage and has now, for the most part, accepted divorce and REMARRIAGE. They same is now happening with churches accepting homosexuality along with gay marriages. Please seek the Lord diligently and ask Him to show you the truth.
