Wither's blue skull can break obsidian, so that's how it got out. Nether portal generation in nether does not correlate with overworld in any way other than distance. However, nether portal can spawn over lava lakes but will have small obsidian platform around it. Hoglins can see you through portals, but they won't attack you because they are afraid of it, along with warped fungi, soul torches, campfires, fires and lanterns and respawn anchors. Neither piglins nor piglin brutes are fireproof, but zombified piglins are. Myth probably referd to them. Normal water bottle has no effect, but splash and lingering water bottle, as well as water in cauldrons, can extinguish fires. Normal piglins will react to you killing one of them, but same doesn't apply to zombified piglins. Also, helium is a noble gas, completely inert. It cannot chemically react and isn't flamable at all. Hydrogen is.

I think the reason why piglins like gold is because it's from the overworld, where they don't go much, and the bravest piglin who found the overworld, was only brave enough to travel deep enough into a cave to find gold so they don't know that diamond, or iron exist, and netherite is common to them, so gold is the rarest material for them, and they don't understand they can turn gold nuggets into ingots.

Actually you can make a huge portal you just need to make sure it’s more blocks tall than wide i think all I’m 100% sure of is you can make one hope this helped❤
