My first tractor had a homemade loader with a bucket and my brother-in-law made a point for it which was bolted on, real cumbersome. That one would work better for sure, for those that need a point it would be a good choice. Have a good evening!

Yes it’s a good option! Thanks for watching

Good review. i think this would be very handy for those with front loaders who do not like the trouble of removing the bucket to mount a hay spear. Very easy to attach and remove. i like that feature the most.

Good morning Ben, I had a bucket mounted fork like this for several years before I got dedicated bale forks for my skid loader and tractor. They can fill a need in the circumstances you mentioned; buckets being in separate locations etc. I should mention that I live in an area where the first 4X5 bale I ever saw was from my own baler 2 years ago. I unloaded semi's full of 5X6 rounds weighing in excess of 1500 lbs at times. This was back in my previous life as a dairyman. Frankly I may be lucky to be alive. The tractor was a Super M weighed down and with fluid filled rears, but it had a tricycle front end. Our ground is as flat as your kitchen table, but a bump with a bale that far out front is not good. I have seen too many of these on tractors that are too small with bucket edges that are too weak picking up bales that are too heavy. For light and infrequent use by a cautious operator with a more than adequate tractor, maybe, but.... I hate to be "that guy" on this thread, but have to mention the walk under the raised bucket. I ain't the safety police and have horror stories to tell of my own carelessness; but please be safe out there. I enjoy your content and don't want it marred by tragedy. All in good humor and with the best intentions.

I get the walking under the loader but at the same time it spends hours on end suspended in the air while working and doesn’t fall. Sure a freak accident could happen though. Thanks for watching

I use quite a few items from VEVOR. So far all of it has worked well and been affordable. I use their 20 gallon oil drain pan, very large ultrasonic cleaner big enough to put my tractor carbs in, top creeper for servicing my 7.3 in my F-Super Duty, and a few other trinkets. Keep posting these great and informative videos.

Ben, you are doing a great job at promoting Vevor. Thanks to you showing their products, i ordered a paint sprayer from them, i received it yesterday. I did a good amount of research on it and think it will serve my needs. I guess what I'm saying is, if it weren't for you, l probably would not have considered there brand. Thanks for another good video. Have a good weekend.

Awesome looking product Ben, I would have to agree with you that this would be the ticket for some that don’t have a quick attachment bucket, especially for the price, God Bless

Lots of older tractors still in circulation don't have the skid steer quick attach, I refurbished a bucket spear for a woman at a near by horse farm, heck I charged her $250 to do the work now you can buy a new one for the same price. They was loading bales on a trailer with it way out in the back 200. Come to think of it, she's still got my chain and binder, I need to go get that.

I fabricated one simular in the early 1980s to fit my BUSHOG loader when I was in the Dairy Business.......

Good video. FWIW - I put a similar spear on my MF50’s loader and the additional distance across the depth of the bucket caused a lot of stress on the loader frame and cylinder brackets. I won’t be using it this year. Best of luck haying in 2024…👍

It wasn’t a vevor brand but we use to use 2 of them on each side of the bucket to move 2 bales at a time.

I’ve built a couple of these type of hay spears for smaller tractors and older tractors. The issues are; one you can see the bale for the bucket, and binder or the ratchet will come lose after a couple of pick ups, and the tighter you make the binder you starter to cave the bucket in. And if your stacking bales in a barn you will need someone to spot for you seeing becomes a guessing game. Until you learn where the bale is into relationship to the bucket. I don’t think you will be happy with this type of spear there nothing wrong with the product itself it’s just extremely difficult to use

Yeah I’ll probably not use it much but might use the spears out of it. Thanks for watching
