When my dogs were pups, I really focused on this kind of stuff. Especially my 2nd dog (my husky, just over 1 yr now) and she'll even lay down and let people touch her at stores and stuff. It's awesome.

Good vid, I think its important to build confidence in dogs to visit the vet. My last girl was a blood donor, she loved it, all the attention and praise she got whilst giving the blood, she came away buzzing for days after. Going to the vets was fun for her.

How do you build the confidence to the point a stranger can handle your dog the same as I can? My guy is definitely not confident enough.

I can wash my dog but im struggling with his nails and he needs them bad and he jumps! I just bought a collar you recommend. To see if i can get him to walk better. Male bluenose pitbull.

Man my new Weimaraner Ozzy mix pup keeps scratching at the door when he wants in. Granted it just snowed an cold out side. I don't want him to stay out for too long cause he is short hair but he's created this habit of he thinks he can get what he wants. I've been working on him seeing me, then ignoring him when he scratches, give it a min an if he doesn't scratch, he gets let in. Should I keep up with this or is there another way that might work better? I've been doing a lot of research and there is very little literature and videos on scratch at the door. There for, I now come to you lol can you make a short on stop scratching at the door?? Pretty please?!? Lol I'm a little desperate! Thank you for your time!!!
