I started when my mom gave me all her beauty school nail supplies in early 2000 and just continued to upgrade collect buy and do all kinds of nails since then ! It’s crazy to see pictures of when I first started to now ! I was 17 almost 18 and now at 41 it’s just so awesome to see how the styles have changed from curved tips to straight tips to C curve and now we have poly gel and gel x. You also did a good job considering it was your first time using forms! My first time was horrendous 😂. Btw your an absolute doll !! ❤

I think forms is the absolutely best things ever . They are SO versatile so you don't need to buy gazillions of nail tips to do different sets of nails 🥰 Forms has a learning curve, but once you master the technique, you'll never go back to tips ❤

I use builder gel/hard gel for my nails too. If you look at your nail, you'll see where the light is reflecting on the surface, you'll be able to tell if the nail is bumpy or not! Hope that makes sense and hope that helps!

Seems much as I want to play with all my items and build my own nails, I just can’t do it when it comes time! Full cover tips with the non stick gels win every time! It’s just so much faster! I already spend so much time removing, prepping & decorating my nails that I can’t ever force myself to spend extra hours to build nails when I have so many that are already built 😂 love seeing your growth!

They turned out good for ur first go, it will get easier with practice, but I am with u on using tips. If u ever want tips on putting forms on, Kirsty Meakin has a good video on forms. And for applying builder gel/hard gel Lissette Cruz (LgnPro) she's the queen of that.

Oh my gosh girl you’re way too hard on yourself!! I have had three different types of nail forms for several months in a box that I have not used for fear of screwing it up. I find them scary too because they seem hard to use and confusing. I have got to say though your nails turned out gorgeous! Seriously, they look very nice! You did a great job and have way more patience than I do lol. That was a great buy on Temu, especially considering it’s HEMA free. 😊 I don’t know if you have ever heard of a UV/LED nail glue called Nailpop but I had seen a couple KZbin videos where it was used. Well I recently saw it on Temu and ordered it out of curiosity and I love it! Seriously, it is a game changer for me because it makes applying nail tips so much easier than any other glue adhesive I have used. They also make other nail products too so I did order some of their nail tips that I am anxious to try out. I really like how the Korean glass nails turned out. ❤They’re really pretty and those glitter gels are so beautiful!! 😍 Thanks for sharing this and I hope you have a wonderful weekend girlie!! 💕😊

Next time hun take a tiny amount first and put down a slip layer use 75% less than what u did for that first one you did doing this and mapping out ur shape will help the gel not to run everywhere since gel sticks and find the gel already down
