Great being able to jump in for a bit of the trip with you Shane

There's the Shane I used to watch, swearing and criticising drivers, love it. New camera position is great, overall gets a greater view of a lot more.👍

Hi Shane. I’m a fairly new subscriber. To give you a story of what’s the worst thing I’ve run over, my family were moving from Central Queensland to South Australia and drove the inland roads. We were on the road between Dirranbandi QLD and Broken Hill following a semi and the semi hit a roo. Throw flung out the back and we ended up running over it. We were in a Mazda 2 hatchback. No damage. Lol. That took us over lots of roads in bum fuck nowhere.

New camera is good Shane, excellent quality picture, can even read the gauges and see out the mirrors ok. A little bit of window glare. I love your banter, you make a mundane trip quite enjoyable. As for the P plater, errr- I better not say what I mean but what I will say is, you can't teach dumb and dumb is forever. Have a good weekend mate!😂

That story about following the P plater sums up what it's like on any highway in Victoria. Must be something in the water lol

It felt so good overtaking learners and P platers at 110kph in nsw as a qld p plater since we didn’t have to oblige to under 90kph

Two run over stories for you mate. I drive buses in south-west Sydney in the ‘90’s. I’d stopped to let some school kids off the bus. I pulled out, checked offside mirror, and “BANG”. Only doing about 15kmh, a kid had walked in front of the bus, head hit near side windscreen, shattered that (and that’s tough glass!). Kids in the bus screaming - blood everywhere! Not a nice experience. And one other - I was in a Ute late night, country road, and hit a wombat. Well, you know they’re built like the proverbial brick s**thouse. Ripped the underside of the Ute out, hair and mangled wombat, had to write off the Ute!😂

Nah, ditch the headcam mate. I'm half full of snakes hiss and I think I'm going into epileptic shock with all the movement!! Ha ha, anyway great video mate and watch the road in front so you don't soil your jocks!!! Run over? We had a group of us ride from Perth to Phillip Island to watch the Moto GP. The guy behind me kept sticking to my line and every time we stopped I told him not to do it...anyway, someone had left half a brake drum on the road, I swerved to miss it, old mate behind me didnt react quick enough, hit the debris, it flew up and punched a hole in his sump, dropped red hot engine oil everywhere! Damn he was so lucky he didn't spin out and smash, lucky he kept it upright.?..

Barging at the last minute is a Sydney thing. Same as Red Light lane Swapping at every intersection.

Love the camera view. I have two stories for you on what i have run over. 1. I was about 27years old thinking i was Casey stoner i was on this yellow triumph Daytona 600cc doing about a buck fifty and came around a corner and f#@kin hit this turtle well f#@k me i shit myself and got about 4ft of air. Didn't come off, but i have slowed right down on my motorcycles. 2. I was about 21 years old, and i was early in the morning about 30km out of longreach and i hit a f#@kin emu. The thing with over my bullbar rolled onto my bonnet, smashed in the windscreen and near, killed me because the emus legs were inside the ute and thrashing around. Its was one of the most scariest thing ever happen to me.

Not me doing the running over, but a big buck kangaroo using the roof of the car to run over me. Came around a corner where there was a high side and the roo bounced of the top bank, then the middle of the roof and just kept going! Love going for a drive with you, the camera was a bit dis-orientating at first but after a couple of seconds it was ok

yeah was just a trial, will try improve it :) and them big roos, they just get straight back up and hop away

actually don't mind the head cam too much, mate. never run anything over luckily. used to drive to a site I worked on in Devon and the drive back on a friday afternoon was a nightmare (m5 then m4 UK) kept to 75mph middle lane as driving lane was full of trucks, some time after Exeter some guy in a long wheelbase Transit with a trailer with a drilling rig on it would come past in the fast lane like I was parked up, one Friday I got to the border between Devon/Somerset and the traffic stopped. everyone stuck there for over two hours because this prat had hit the central reservation and his trailer had disintegrated and scattered debris over both sides of the motorway. bits of rig and trailer spread for about 60 yards around. finally got moving and made the next services toilets just in time.funnily enough I never saw the same van again. p.s. mate I think now there are three genders today, male ,female and nondenominational f##kwit!!
