You did great man ! I know that digger is a wrist breaker, but ya hung in there 💪💪 OK STRONG 💪💪 ! One of the other purposes for dipping is to keep the wood from pulling moisture out of the concrete and making it brittle (think of all the covered concrete front porches where the post sits on the concrete porch, and the corners of the porch have cracked off)... Just gives ya that one more layer there... Anyway, you did a great job, and we sure appreciate the mention brother ! Thank you so much ! Keep on Keeping It Dutch !

If you leave the posts high, you can mount small bird houses on top. The birds will eat the insects on the property. The girls would have a great time painting the bird houses.

Seeing you pound your heal to mark the spot for the hole, I was thinking if you bought some of those wire flags, like the utility companies use to mark the lines, you could lay your tape, and mark where you wanted the poles to go one time. The flags could be reused as you go for other fencing, or marking for your foundation. I wouldn't think they would be expensive.

Dutch, drill the hole as deep as you can with the auger and use the dirt and rocks to back fill the holes and you won't need the concrete for the post. The rocks will help steady the posts until the ground settles around them. Main thing is to get them as deep as possible.
