Testing and replacing Glow Plugs, AG39, on the BMC 950 and Leyland 1500, 1800 diesel engines.

This video shows how to test and replace the 12V glow plugs, part number AG39, on the BMC 950 Diesel engines and the Leyland 1500 and Leyland 1800 engines.
These engines originally worked off a 9V system, but those glow plugs have been obsolete for about 30 years now. The majority of tractors have already been converted to the 12V system, but it is worth checking.
This video also shows how to remove the carbon build-up before fitting new glow plugs.

Wow! Just what I needed to know. I recently got my hands on a 1800 and nr2 plug tip broke off. Never thought it would be this easy to remedy. Many thanks for taking the time to make and share this information!
