Thank you for trying out my book! Your drawings were so cute! There are no rules at all- you could cover the entire page with color and make it something different. ❤️ The pages are like a first layer- a mere suggestion to anything that comes from them. And you don’t even have to make actual objects- you could just trace or draw lines or make patterns as like a meditation. All that to say, it’s meant to spark creativity or mindfulness or as an exercise in letting go. And it’s not for everyone and I’m so happy you tried. Thank you, have the best day! 🩷🩷

I really really thought your book was a super creative idea and not something that's already been done a million times and in a million different variations. You def earned extra bonus points with me for your creativity and not following the crowd. Im a lil like Moriah and I feel like my brain would explode trying to come up with something because my brain just isn't smart with coming up with original concepts. I need inspiration and then I can make something completely different than the inspo but I need something to get me started. Even just a prompt like if on the back of the page it gave some prompt suggestions. Like the page she did it could say sky scrapers, fruit and whatever else lol. As you can see I'm having a major block just trying to come up with prompts she didn't use 😂😂😂. I've always been this way and it drives me crazy. I wish I could visualize things but I absolutely can't unless I see something or hear an idea. Like I said if I'm just given an idea I can literally turn it into something completely different but I just need a starting point. It would be so cool if you ever decide to create another one if you added prompt suggestions for each page. Very well done though chicka and there's tons of people who actually can just visualize an idea based on your watercolor so it's Def a home run idea. ❤❤❤

A art trend that you should try in maybe like 7 months is “Get a thrift store painting and paint a little ghost in the painting” it’s really fun! And you can get as creative as you want with adding ghosts! You can also add pumkins, ducklings, bushes, cats, and many more!

straight lines can be pretty easy to learn if you learn a method, but I just wanna say that the style of messy lines with the colouring not fully contained by the lines is a really good style, and thats a really good city

I love the reverse coloring book idea! A way I doodle at school is to create a bunch of blobs and scribbles on a pieces of paper, color them in and then figure out what they look like and do line art

My grandma taught this method of doing blobs of colourful watercolour and then lining them after. I feel like the fun part is the colouring too, so this book is just taking it out 😂 but I guess finding shapes and concepts in anstractness can be a hood exercise when you have an art block. Making it one specific style is hard, so definitely I’d say you’d try with your own colour scheme and watercolours ahain.

When I was in primary school, the teacher told us to put some watercolor blobs on a paper and then fold it in two. After unfolding, we were told to complete the drawings based on the shapes that resulted from folding the paper

Getting out of the comfort zone is the point, I think… yah? And those berries are freaking adorable & you made the city looking page come to life… other’s I’ve seen turned it into a dystopian hell scape. You might have more fun having MiniMe paint some with a color palette of your choosing. A collaborate art project, for just you two. No need to film it, but it might feel less like a chore & more freeing.
