Brakes are a big part of stopping, but tires are a massive part. You can't stop if you don't have traction

in beam what i noticed with new cars vs older cars with abs new cars cut the braking power to like 40% when full braking so you need a controller and keep the brakes around 50%-70% to brake with the full brakes to not have them reduce to like 40% brakes the older cars like the d-series if you full brake it will stay at 100% braking it just prevents lock-up

I'm glad you included the T series cuase its always useful to show just how hard a semi is to stop. Maybe next tests, include a full trailer for comparison! And acceleration tests on the surfaces would also be cool to see!!!! (and could also show just how well weight affects traction)

Idk i think going their max speed makes sense, why have the runway towards the braking zone be so long otherwise yknow? besides considering one of em is a supercar and one of em is a truck i think it'd be obvious which of the two would stop sooner at the same speed

You gotta redo this test. All the vehicles need to be going the same speed. Also having good brakes has absolutely nothing to do with stopping on wet/muddy etc surfaces, its all about tires.

True and I think the scintilla has the best for proper surfaces and I think the D-series has a little more grip on surfaces off-road

About the topic of rich people driving supercars on ice. In Sweden there is a place in the northern part of the country called Arjeplog where car manufacturers and tire manufacturers test their products (this also includes supercars) in icy conditions. It can brake from top speed at around 110kmph to 0 in a couple of seconds, just because it has so many wheels(more grip) and such a light body. No abs needed

Camodo just so you know the T-series truck for what ever reason does not come with front brakes so you have to manually put front brakes on.
