I love beetles as a beginner I bought it on accident and it’s been my go to ever since. These are so beautiful. I love their polishes. I'm using modelones polygel.. love but imma try beetles. Love how affordable they are. Their packaging is so cute! Great brushes. Bought a IBD builder yesterday so I'll try beetles too. And I use full coverage nails no matter what I do. I love their files. I wish I saw the builder in a bottle! So you don’t need to apply a base coat before the builder gel ? If you were to use another polish on top of the builder gel would you need to base coat it or would you still top coat go over that with color and then apply a top coat again? Thank you ❤ I loved this video your voice is super calming

Awww...thanks you so much for the kind words! 🥰 Yes, typically you would go in with a regular base coat if you want the nails to last longer, in this video I went in with my peel off base coat first before I started my application to allow for easy pop off removal. In regards to nail polish over the builder gel, you could go straight in with the color while the builder gel still has the tacky layer to allow for better adhesion. I hope this helps. My beetles builder gel always pops off the nail after a few hours. I use the beetles nails. I’ve tried prepping the beetles nails by scuffing them with a file, I’ve used a primer. Nothing send to be working. It just pops off. Polish and all which is also beetles. What am I doing wrong? I don’t clean the sticky off between coats either. Help

Hey love! 💕 You can do a lot with clear builder gel. You can apply full cover tips, you can build the nail out with it like I did in this video, you can do a thin overlay on your natural nail to add strength to it, etc. But to answer your question, yes you can apply it after you apply a few layers of color. That will give your nails extra strength. Just be sure to seal it with a top coat. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hey love! 💕 I have not done a full wear test on their builder gels on my natural nails but if their builder gels a wear like their regular gel polishes, they will easily last 2+ weeks. Hey love! 💕 It's not something I typically do but it's good to put a layer of base or builder gel over the tip first to ensure the product does not separate from the tip. And yes, I do also put a layer of base coat down before applying my tips, and in this case I used the builder gel to apply my tips in place of nail glue. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Good job but- I thinks it’s a little unfair to show the builder gel with tips! Most use a form to actually build the extension off the gel. That’s just my preference though! Great videos

My beetles builder gel always pops off the nail after a few hours. I use the beetles nails. I’ve tried prepping the beetles nails by scuffing them with a file, I’ve used a primer. Nothing send to be working. It just pops off. Polish and all which is also beetles. What am I doing wrong? I don’t clean the sticky off between coats either. Help

Hey love! 💕 A lot of times it's the prep to our natural nails that causes the products to lift. Proper nail prep is very important.
