Don't waist your money the brushed one. The brushless model has tons of upgrades. I got the brushed truck and put a brushless system in. Stripped out the ring and pinion on the first run. Pot metal straight cut gears vrs helical cut steel in the brushless. The brushless has so many better parts! Do your research before buying this. Different shocks, radio, chassis, ring and pinion, spur gear the list is long.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I absolutely agree with you. The brushless version is amazing for the 250$ or sometimes less that you are paying for it. You will get a great RC OTB. Since I found the brushed version for 120$ at the time, I wanted to check out what I will get. For that price I am happy and I am sure for beginners who are still learning it's a great entry. Cheers

Just upgraded my brushed one to a 2/3s as I burnt the motor out after some hard abuse. In hindsight I should have checked and locktitened the screws, hence a steering cup screw come out and stripped the plastic thread. That's OK as sorted that. I also whacked in a better radio and a gyro receiver. Just get some spare front arms etc. I use olive oil in the shocks and seems sweet as. Decent car and pretty fast now. I give it a good ol bash and just repair it. Good cheap thing to learn on

So far everything is holding up well. If you are using it just like I did in the video it will last you for a while I guess. I mean parts will break eventually. They always do. No matter the price of your RC. Thanks for watching 😉

Hi, I used a 2s LiPo for this RC. The original battery is a nimh. Using a 2s LiPo is not recommended by the manufacturer, but it does work. Using 3s would much likely fry your electronics. Have a good one

so you also use LiPo battery on a brushed one. How long have you been using LiPo on this car? Has Esc caused any problems? Alternate the use of Ni-MH and LiPo batteries thanks@@carlitofisher

​@@mikelo76Hi, the use of Li-ion or LiPo is inofficial and there is no switch to alternate. I've been using LiPo on the ZD Racing before I sold it and I had no issues with the esc. 2s was fine. Just FYI if you use LiPo and something happens with the electronics, your warranty is voided.

@@mikelo76 I think it's great for beginners to learn to drive and maintain a RC car. It is slightly faster with LiPo. If you want all the upgrades right away then spend the extra 90€ for the brushless version: www.banggood.com/custlink/3Km5mO8aB6 It's cheaper than doing all the upgrades by yourself.

What size of lipo did you use sir? how many mAh? You did not mention on your video

zd racing DBX 10 brushless ,It's not worth it for $300 because. Put another $100 you can buy a really good RC car, like the Traxxas Rustler.... I don't say this is not a good car. it's a nice car but that kind of money is too expensive for Chinese car... I would rather go fo r Traxxas Rustler for that money... 😊

Put another $100 you can buy a really good RC car, like the Traxxas Rustler or Arrma Vorteks.. and Arrma Vorteks 4x2.. can buy that for $200 and you can make it four-wheel drive.. Plus it's Good branded reputed company.. I don't say zd racing dbx 10 is not a good car. it's a nice car but that kind of money is too expensive for Chinese car... I would rather go fo r Traxxas Rustler for that money... 😊
