Yes I have. Still it’s not as powerful as condenser mic

I have a V8 sound card, and mine has the same problem. It can only use one mic at a time, but the priority is reversed - if there is anything plugged into the dynamic mic port, the condenser mic won't work. (I can also use a headset mic via the headset port, but only if nothing is plugged into the dynamic and condenser mic ports.) I've seen other people on youtube whose V8 soundcards don't have this problem. They can use two mics at the same time, or have a guitar plugged into the Dynamic mic port and still be able to sing into a condenser mic. I'm guessing that there are many versions of the V8 sound card, many different manufacturers... And so, it's unpredictable what model or functionality you will be getting. The others were probably just lucky that they got a model that can handle two mics at the same time.

There is no big difference in terms of audio. V9 has more functions than v8. Just make sure select the V9 that has 3.5mm port for the Live 1 & 2 as well as for background music coz it’s easy to connect to other gadget like mixer, speakers, etc.

Yes it will work. But if you want to use the mic from the headset, only the one plugged in to the headset will work provided there is no other mic (condenser/dynamic) plugged in.

hi im planning to buy K1 soundcard for my mum, the hardware only has 1 dynamic mic connector input, but i saw a converter that has 2 dynamic mic 6.5 female into 1 6.5 male. will it be able to activate both mic if i use that?

So far I have tested connecting 2 dynamic microphones and they both work when used at the same time. I used the 6.35mm and 3.5mm mic input from K1. For the 3.5mm mic input, I used 3.5mm male to 6.35mm female adapter for the other dynamic mic.

Thanks for the review... I just noticed the first dynamic mic had only 2 poles (mono) and the condenser with the attachment had 3 poles (stereo pattern on the plug) I wonder how both worked.. lol

If your usb mic has headphone port, you can connect it to a live sound card like in this video link kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4vVZ52Aq6uja80 For me a live sound card is an on the go audio interface, most of them has Bass, Treble, Echo/Reverb or equalizer plus voice changer you can use for your vocals.

Sorry to hear that. If you tried and same thing. Unfortunately there are different kinds of V8- some woks both condenser and dynamic at the same time, some V8 works one at a time only like in this video.

We have the same problem. I purchased a JBL wireless mic and it doesn't work on the dynamic mic. I even bought an adaptor for the condenser mic but no luck. Still not working. P.S. we returned the JBL mic in the store, they tested it and it's working.

V9 sound card is the better. Please try to look 3.5 mm port for the Music, Live 1 and 2 coz it is easy to connect to other gadget. I noticed there are V9 that have ports same as charging port.

Most probably it’s the terminal when you plugged something like headphone or mic or live 1 or 2. Try to wiggle it a bit and then try to talk but if you can still hear the clock sound then perhaps the v8 itself could be defective.

Gam 800 mic is also a Bm 800 mic. Sound would almost be the same however because of different manufacturing companies, sounds would be different. You can enhance the audio quality if you connect a mixer to your mic.

I would say audio quality will not be that big difference since there both condenser mic and can be boast with the use of a mixer. I have a few covers in our channel and some of them were recorded just the bm 800 Condenser Mic and a live sound card like v8, m9,etc and some of them were recorded using mic and a mixer or both. I’m looking forward to testing mic + phantom power.

In my opinion , a Phantom power is not gonna resolve the dual mic issue. I have seen some videos with V8 thats works both of the dynamic and condenser mic. I think some V8 works for both mics depending on the manufacturing companies.

I am not really a tech person on this but my idea os that most of of the Mixer has a built in phantom power and you just have to turn it on if you are going to connect a condenser mic. In this case you don’t really need a separate phantom power anymore. On the other hand if you don’t have a mixer then a phantom power will add more power to the sound if connected to the V8 sound card with the condenser mic.
