The wet application is what professional vehicle wraps utilize. However, the alcohol step is of the utmost importance and literally only 3drops of j&j baby shampoo (no extra fragrance, only plain) into a 16oz bottle of water. It works fabulously. I feel you may have had a bad experience due to soap/water ratio + alcohol cleanse.

Will another unscented liquid soap work?
@lauriepayseur58972 жыл бұрын
@@seanadean9427 I can’t say one way or the other... I just know the one I mentioned works... when I find something that works I just stick with that for my own peace of mind ans ease of use. Hope this helps.

I feel like the shower curtain rings need to hang from a small plaque with labels for each type of material, ie heat transfer, permanent vinyl, removable vinyl, etc and I would totally spray paint them for a more polished look :) but totally love the idea and I totally with I had watched this video earlier today my project would have been so much easier....thank you

I just bought the Maker And the Joy. I bought the Joy first. Loved how much simpler the program was that I bought the Maker two weeks later. I'm impressed at how well made they are. Plus I have found more help with videos then my unnamed machine. I was not expecting the press and seal to work for this. I've seen it work for making cards. FYI- Press and Seal is stretched over food bowls. It's made to stick to glass and plastic to make a drum like seal. I have a vinyl covering on one of my window for privacy. I just used water and it works great. Samething for my cell privacy screen protectors. I didn't add soap.

Tanner I always use the Press n Seal when I am stenciling on wood. When I use the Press n Seal I never get any bleeding under the stencil, plus I don't waste my time using Mod Podge to seal the stencil, the Press n Seal works like a charm!!

with the wet application I think the alcohol might help to bust any bubbles. In resin crafts alcohol is sometimes used to burst air bubbles that surface on top of the resin.

Sorry this is unrelated to the video but have you ever come across your cricut joy smart iron on not working? I use the normal sized rolls and cut them to fit on the joy mat and those iron on and stick to fabric just fine! The smart joy iron on just doesn't work at all and I've wasted 3 whole rolls of it trying to get it to work and it just doesnt, same material and heat setting but the regular iron on just works perfectly

For me I make mine with rubbing alcohol and soap the rubbing alcohol evaporates quicker than the water which rubbing alcohol is a mixture of alcohol and water therefore it works quite well with less work time of course due to evaporation

I have horrible vision and I'm able to see all cuts on any color. Lol also on the press and seal part... could you just remove the decal like a sticker and place it on? Lol like a sticker... cause it is just a sticker. Lol and I'm having a hard time seeing how placing painters tape across the design is some how centering the design on the the round board. that's a a way to place it without bubbles but not centering it. It could still be crooked.

Tanner, that messy background is driving me crazy. Music in the background of an instructional video is distracting to persons like myself. For instance, would you want to try to learn algebra with music while the teacher was explaining the steps and principles? Sound isn’t good as it was formerly. Just some observations from my point of view.
