Early - I've never though of using rubber bands for storeing energy
@LucasDynamics7 ай бұрын
It's a very practical way to store energy...

you can pull the gears instead of the wheels though it maybe harder
@LucasDynamics7 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's easier like this but I wanted to show that it can be used like a real pull back car...

I wonder if you could use a liftarm(32009) or something, and use gears similar to one of those hand powered squeezing lamps, and instead use spring power to push the car
@LucasDynamics7 ай бұрын
I tried it with springs but it didn't really worked better... Or do you mean something else?
@dsihacker017 ай бұрын
@@LucasDynamics I made one years ago by taking apart the stiff shocks, the spring fits perfectly over an axle, while also being small enough to sit in the pin holes from a lift arm. I used that 8 long rod, with a piece like 42135 for the springs to press against and not stress the rod. The rod should only guide the springs. Then, you use that force and gear it down significantly, as it has a LOT of torque, iirc, I had 4 of those big grey gears into the smallest gear and it still wasn't enough. Maybe a multidirectional worm gear of sorts

I dont know a lot about legos but do you know the parts only hearing the numbers?😂
@dsihacker014 ай бұрын
@@lilaninjanarvidsson336 god no, they say right on the part, or online usually, it's like their barcode, very easy to tell which part it is exactly. Google "Lego [Part/set #]" and it will almost always show you that piece
@diegoavalis3886Ай бұрын
it's correct to say store, no need for quotes, after all you are storing elastic potential energy
