You published this video in 1080p. Would really need to be in 4K if we are expected to see minor improvements in the game with the PS5 Pro. We also have to remember that this game has not been coded to take full advantage of the new PS5 Pro GPU. I purchased a PS5 Pro as I believe things will just keep getting better as Sony continues to improve the PSSR code and as developers start pushing the limits of the PS5 with new Unreal 5 games.

I publish at 1080p with VP09 codec on KZbin, as I output at 2048x1152. This forces KZbin to give me the upgraded codec for higher visual fidelity, despite my recording not being 1440p and above. The astronomical extra time it takes to process at 1440p or 4K is ridiculous, and I feel it's no longer worth it for general content. For a video like this? Perhaps it may have made some difference. The main point of this video was just to see how it ran overall with the PS4 enhance setting on, seeing as the game had already been patched on PS5 to be 60 fps and upscalled 4K.

@@Philminator While I do understand it takes longer to process, a new Macbook Pro or similar PC would improve the processing speed by orders of magnitude depending on your current set up. I don't agree that 4K output is not important but I guess most people probably watch on their phones so probably not an issue. I can see a big difference watching channels that output in 4K vs. 1080p on my 4K tv at home. Thank you for the content !

@@regulartxdude7813 I meant processing on KZbin. I have a brand new high end PC I just got 2 months ago. 1080p videos that are like 30 minutes long on KZbin, are near instantaneous for processing 1080p with VPO9 codec. 1440p videos that are like 5 minutes long, can take up to a few hours before processing 1440p, in which case often times the 1080p feature is locked, until the full processing has been completed. I have a 4K Pro Elgato capture card, but my monitor is only 1440p, as I never cared to spend the extra $ for 4K. I may sometime try again 1440p to see if KZbin has gotten any better at the processing speeds.

Only older 8th gen/PS4 games I give a damn about getting true sequels or remakes (don't care for remasters) are Bloodborne and Days Gone... these are the 2 most Important at least.

@@giogamer4825 I like Days Gone. But if they are going to remaster a game I prefer GOW (2018). I have a QD- OLED and it looks awful. The HDR is horrible and the colors are off. Days Gone looks fine but the loading times even if you install it in a SSD hurts the game.

@@juanrubio6132 Same feeling with my S95C.. Edit: after playing futher some Days Gone, you do notice it is somehow an older game, with some pop in, graphics etc. It would be greater with an update, but Sony did abandon the studio, so I dont think that will ever happen

I brought my PS5 PRO for pro enhanced games Bonus it plays alll ps5 and ps4 games at there max settings if they weren’t maxed out before on PS5

bei ruckelt es teilweise ... ich finde das Bild sehr viel schärfer und wir haben noch kein Update für dieses Game in Verbindung zur PS5 pro ... Ich hoffe das es die Zukunft zeigen wird das die pro wirklich einen Unterschied macht im positiven Sinne... Viele denken das die pro ein gamechanger al a ps6 zu sein hat. Ich nutze einen LG B2 in 55 Zoll und PS5 pro ich bin sehr zufrieden... Mal sehen was komplett neue Games aus der pro rausholen werden. Ich wünsch allen eine genussvolle gaming Zeit

Yes. Checkered 4K and 60 fps, as such the PS5 Pro does nothing more as far as I can see.

Yeah, no offence, but I've picked up a Pro and see enough difference in the games I've tested so far. If there isn't a difference in this then fair enough, but just because there isn't in one game doesn't mean there isn't in others lol

I just played it on my PS5 pro with that ps4 game optimiser thing turned on and I got really bad fps drops. So I turned it off and the game runs butter smooth at 4k 60.... With the ps4 games optimiser it didn't run well.

The PS5 Pro will only enhance native 1080p games, not the later 1440p / 4K games designed for the PS4 Pro !

RDR2 is still bad from what I’ve seen and have heard. Nothing upscaled and the game is still locked at 30fps. Rockstar being Rockstar, they will not release an enhanced patch. And if they do, it’ll be random and will more or less cost money for the upgrade.

Why? An LG C4 144hz OLED TV with VRR and ALLM (42-65”) will perform as good if not better than your Alienware.

@@Koorby64 Because I sit 2-3 feet from the screen at my desk. I have multiple displays, my PC, my PS5, my Nintendo, my audio interface, and my DSLR camera, and my camera light on the desk. I actually bought this 27" monitor, because my 32" monitor was too big to comfortably fit on my desk, along with my other monitor, which is 24". Even though I have one of the biggest sit / stand desks you can get, a TV would be crap for this specific scenario. It's nearly impossible to get a high end TV under 42" for one thing, and secondly where I live, my Alienware monitor was roughly $700 cheaper than that LG C4 you mentioned, which includes a 3 year warranty including burn in. Dell sends you a replacement even before they receive yours. In the end, I'll admit that in a perfect world, I'd prefer a TV for a few reasons. They have a remote, they have built in speakers, even though my speaker system alone is $700, it's nice for a backup. You can get a far larger screen than a monitor for not really that crazy more of an amount of money. The gap between PC monitors and TV's is practically non existent now for features and quality. TV's used to be straight up garbage compared to monitors. In a few years, when I'm not lazy, and pay off my few remaining debts I have, I will likely slowly look into either wall mounting a 65" OLED or micro LED TV. That way I can get a big massive screen up on my wall, and have even more room on my desk, even though I don't really need more room. just as long as my camera and light don't obstruct my view.

PS5 Pro game boost for PS4 games is not even close to what PS5 Pro enhancements can do, too bad this game will probably never get an actual PS5 Pro enhanced version. Actual PS5 Pro enhanced games is where all the magic is happening.
