Something veeeery important to note about the Beast-Repellant Torch: it works on basilisks. Including those in the Lake of Rot.

Just a heads-up, the unique properties of the Beast Repellent and Sentry's torches work when the torch is on your back. So you can two-hand your main weapon and still get the benefits

Sentry's Torch can be really strong because you can use the Last Rites AoW of the Golden Epitath to buff its Holy damage among other buffs. GigasThiccas made a video demonstrating a fully buffed Sentry's Torch in PvP and he was destroying people with it. You just need an opponent that lets you buff

Frost torch and fire torch combo can be op since you can frost bite than hit them with fire damage to instantly reset frost built up and than frost bite them again, practically turning it into bleed. Edit: also I’m pretty sure players that gets slept also looses chunk of their FP

In DS3 I had some success by using the Follower's Torch in my off hand and a Whip as my main, try pairing it with a whip, it's fun even if it isn't the best pairing (:

There is 9 other category left apart from main categories which is 3 Bows category,Crossbows,Ballistas,Glintstone staffs,Sacred seals and Tools that have 4 damaging item(Wraith calling bell,Omen bairn,Regal omen bairn,Ancestral infant's head) and there is shileds too if you count

I use torches dual wielding them with swords while exploring caves and dungeons. They disable main weapons ash of war, but regular ones allow to "stab", which works really well against most enemies found there, and the fire breath one is awesome to clear out lots of weaker annoying enemies in tight spaces. All three fire torches are a weapon of choice for fighting miners. They are great
