I remember dad improvised with a popsicle stick for a prop driven firework that had the prop broken. What I also remember is that those things kept chasing myself and my mom all over the place.

we used to take common ground bloom flowers and launch them into the air with a simple slingshot after lighting the fuse. it's amazing how far and high those things could go

there are some old ones that you cant get anymore called wacky bats, that have a little screaching thing attached to one of the wings as it goes up, and it flies in strange patterns because of the wing shape. and a salute/report, at the end. they were unique.

I'm no expert and I love the videos you make but I HAVE to question the choice to light off aerials on a board in amongst several unlit fireworks. I'm actually surprised how long it took for an accidental lighting to occur. Unfortunately, the lost firework is the one I wanted to see the most.
