Exactly what I thought. The sparks get cold so fast they can't light the next one. Though there was a video out this july where a family had a huge stash of fireworks by their car, uncorrectly lit some a few meters away and it tipped, lighting the whole stash... But correctly used and stored, fireworks are pretty safe!

Being totally blind my whole life hasn't done me any harm either, and I've also had two brain surgeries for Trigeminal Neuralgia. I was on a lot of meds, but I've come off the main one for pain and am using a infarred laser pen for it now, and I can also say I've reduced all but one of the other three meds I'm taking. I'm also a singer, and you made my day, too. In case you didn't know, I use text-to-speech software to type and read whatever text is onscreen, and I'm having a little Fourth of July party this evening with a neighbor I just met just over a week ago. I've always loved celebrating this day, and I still celebrate July the 14th with France which is Bastille Day. I lived over there for two years, and I loved it. It's so different now, but I still love listening and singing along with all my favorite French music. I really hope you can find a way to get enough food, too. All the watermellon was picked over at the store, so I'll just have to make due with what I've got, but it's enough, and for that I'm thankful. Keep enjoying life, as I do, because we can't take a single thing for granted. Hopefully, we'll have many more July 4ths to celebrate!

When I was about 15 I had a friend that inherited a bunch of stuff from his dad who passed away. In their attic my friend found a bunch a old fireworks from the 60's, some of which I've never seen before or since. Lots of things that broke extremely loud, but the coolest thing was this hex shaped cake that had these hell shriek whistle effects to an enormous slaute. We lit a few m80's for comparison and the cake was even louder than those.

I am a Theater Pyrotechnician and love watching your videos. I suggest using a barrel type handheld lighter, rather than trying to use a blowgorch to light fireworks. It's safer. My dad use to make our own fireworks here in the Bay Area. He hosted a fireworks show and party every fourth of July for the neighborhood. One year a spark fell in the box full of the fireworks and put on quite the show. People are still talking about it many years later.

Come to the Netherlands at New Years Eve. Try some rural place where you have view onto multiple towns for a great show (sitting in a high apartment in a city is dangerous). People refer to it as a warzone, as soon as midnight arrives it reaches the climax

I should add though; there's some pretty cool stuff over there as well and I'm happy you guys also love your fireworks since there's been a lot of division here over the past few years. Also, it's probably worth it to watch some video's on it. Xtremerides1 (I believe) usually has some pretty cool compilations. It is in Dutch, but the fireworks remain the same of course. I used to get a firework called the three musketeers. It was 3 tubes mounted on a 2x4 and you needed to secure them to something larger. It had 1 fuse and it launched each tube after the other. It sent the charge really high in the air and when they went off they shook everything. I think they were said they were equivalent to a 1/4 stick each. The place I used to buy my stuff from always invited their better coustomers to a big picnic where they set off a bunch of stuff. The guy passed away and now they have fireworks stores all over the place but they don't seem to have as good of stuff as he had. I know he picked the best of the best and that's all he stocked. I can get similar stuff to some of what he had but nothing like the 3 musketeers, it really stood apart from the rest.

Yeah always loved fireworks and while not a firework one of the coolest candles I’ve seen is one I had for my 29th birthday it was a green flower that when lit opened up with multiple candles around the edges lit up while at the same time playing “happy birthday”

Nah, fireworks aren't nearly that easy to ignite.....people always think that flammable stuff is way more volatile and "flammable" than it actually is. Even things like gasoline....you can throw a lit cigarette into a puddle of gas and it won't due anything. As far as fireworks go, you need an actual flame to light the fuse or an ember held to it for a sustained amount of time and you would need a sustained strong flame to burn through the protective cardboard exterior and light the powder within. A few sparks ain't gonna do shit

As a retail worker for that last 14 years I've never been able to actually go and see a fireworks event. Watching this made me happy and reminded me of a 4th of July party my dad was invited to back around 1988/1989 ish (I wasn't in high school yet). This family had a pool in the back yard where they set up a navel battle w/ships that launched close range fireworks.

For your spinning fireworks try using an oil drip pan from your local auto parts store. It is fireproof and the slight rim will keep your spinners from sliding off.
