It's alright, that clash increase to ryoshu's skill 1 is tying up the singular loose end she has. Any character with a low rolling lust skills (*cough *cough new canto 6 ids *cough) would go great with this. The damage up was not that noticeable besides roestta desire, if we get a lust quick suppression this could see some team-wide use. This is basically just an ego to complete the kurokumo team res the same way pride was for blade lineage.

It's quite a seemingly difficult EGO to use lol I still have fun with it cause I like Gregor a lot and I like running fun generalist teams. It's pretty fun to work around with on my side as well. However, quite a lot of people are upset with it which I can find pretty fair lol It's quite a strange one to observe for a WAW When we compare it to the likes of something like Sunshower, you can greatly understand why it's rather a strange one to work with lol Sunshower gains 3 protection, 1 Sloth POWER up and 2 DMG up (non-corroded) That's one extra coin power and more dmg And on top of that, it gets protection All while being able to get the same effects in the next turn And 15 sanity (This is the support part. Like all the other WAWs there ought to be support. Ish gives more sanity and Gregor instead gives more heals) A lot of flat out good effects and the cost is a total of 10 resources for a WAW No needing to resonate with some sort of team, and a majority of resources can come out of a lot of Yi Sang's Identities. Good synergy and reasonable payoff when you take into account the resources I'd like to believe the devs were more careful when they worked on Blind Obsession Ishmael's EGO, as instead there was no longer a "Gain effects on next turn" and instead focused much more on it being a good support because of it's sanity recovery. +It had a decent passive (with dangerous payoff) in which it gives some sinking to an ally to get even more damage. A guaranteed amount of SP for allies and pierce power up seems pretty worth it lol All while coming at a 11 sin resource cost There's only one specific Ishmael ID that synergizes well with it however. As a result, if you don't happen to have it, it's rather annoying to build up to lol But I'd like to believe the devs this time around were a bit too scared to make this EGO a bit more powerful. I mean, when you do meet the conditions for it, it's pretty bussin' lol 6+ Resonance all to get two power up and DMG up for that sin affinity, and all on the next turn while also being able to heal a majority of the party for the current turn As a result you can get 4 power up (or defense down+atk power down for the enemies) instead on the next turn And yet, it needs a GENERALIST team to be able to pull it off not a specific team with one sin, a generalist team lol At least for story mode content I don't give a fuck if it's in MD, I don't know why people would complain about it's usage in MD when it's friggin' MD lmfao But with MD aside, it's hard to keep up the consistency with it in other content lol All coming at a round a 14 sin resource cost lol And again, back to the sunshower comparison There is no need for resonance for Sunshower, sunshower basically does allat specifically for sloth and has no needance of resonance or specific team synergy lmfao all it needs is one good Yi Sang ID and it's game For Ish and her WAW EGO, it's the same thing in which it's providing a good passive and good support for specifically Pierce IDs It's a shame really And I don't even know why they didn't have this EGO trigger some sort of Slash defense down or power up for the team as well lol All the other WAWs (so far) give pierce support but this EGO being a slash EGO can't give out slash support or debuffs at all lol There's only one suggestion I've seen people give out to try and improve the EGO that I really liked (not fix, because I know darn well the devs are better at fixing their own game than us perhaps lol) Just flat out changing it's sin affinity type depending on what the resonance the rest of the team has ongoing is pretty darn good. My own suggestion to improve it and make it seem pretty cool is instead of having it cost 2 of each sin affinity Have it still cost the same amount of resources, but instead (I'd like to think this is the unique part) You can choose out of which sin affinities you want to use the 14 cost on You want to do wrath resonance? All right cool, you can spend 14 wrath on that lol Pride? Cool, you can spend 14 pride resources on that Gloom!?!?!? Say no more lol To trigger which one you can choose, on turn one or whatever turn. Based on that turn and which sin affinity had more resonance, on the next turn the EGO will change its cost requirements. that way, it actually lives up to being the support it SHOULD be for specific sin affinities and resonance lol But idk, I'm not a game dev If we discount my suggestion, I just think some Slash power up and perhaps one more power up for the specific sin in some aspect would be cooler Get that bind effect out of my face for it's corrosion lmfao And perhaps buff the healing in which it can be triggered again on the next turn Heal->You got hit? Cool -> You did good resonance on that turn?->AWEOSEMEKOO!-> Let's heal our allies again on the next turn This is even cooler when healing in the main sign of roses abno fight is pretty essential Or maybe some sort of removal of a status effect would be cool (This one is a more outrageous suggestion to me lol) or if you wanted to get more EXTRA or more cooler with it, if we discount everything I said and instead have it be more connected with the boss counter part, based on the resonance we could've gotten additional effects or have it's passive change depending on it's effects You did wrath resonance? Have more burn You did gloom resonance? Have more sinking You did Lust resonance? Have more bleed All while on top of the power ups/defense downs for the specific Sin affinity And instead for its passive we get a 3 potency and 3 count for whichever status effect was triggered. That would be a lot more acceptable at least in my eyes But no 2 rupture potency every turn That's a Lol Other than that, if you made it this far reading, I hope I didn't fry anyone's brain with this yapping lol This EGO had a lot of potential to get a LOT right But in the end, it succumbed to perhaps the panic of the devs in which we've realized that WAW EGOs are pretty damn powerful so far So they held back a bit from cooking or something like that idunno Good videos btw Ainz, I'm glad you tried to do follow along with what the EGO really wanted to make it shine. keep up the good work and showcases lol

My problem with this ego is how it needs 6+ resonance for all the buffs, but there is only 6 sinners, so it's tailored to only be really good on full lust teams In any other team, there is always a chance that Gregor will roll low on speed, and you won't get much value besides healing This eliminates pride or envy team synergy, making it kinda awkward to use, since there is barely any reason to lust res, besides ~4 egos, but they require sanity and resources, which Crown of roses doesn't restore and only spends even more Wispers, however, does restore sp, but only on 2 sinners per turn

@@Meowsamurai Zwei Gregor mostly fixes the speed problem If you proc his haste, you should be Gucci And that’s a good point as well about Gregor’s first turn problem Haste on the EGO instead of Bind would be a lot more beneficial as a result lol

I completely agree with a lot of your points. I find it a bit lack luster that all we get from this EGO is either attack buff or debuff for a specific sin. Tbh, it really only work well with lust because of the extra turn. It sad that the SIgn of Roses fight was very interesting and fun fight, while this Ego caters towards a specific team. Your ideas to improve the EGO are great but like you said they probably don't want to create such a overpower one, as if it can be used on any team since I can choose which specific sin for resources or having it apply certain status effects, why wouldn't you always bring it. In addition, I feel like this EGO is trying to do too many things at once, do I use it to damage since its a 4 attack weight slash , do I use it to buff my team when there in the right position, or to heal when I'm in a pinch? If this was just to do damage and heal it would just be another fluid sac for me, but on top of having to build a team to cover all sin you have to gamble if the turn you are able to create the sin resonance you want and what position gregor is at. The only other thing I can think about approving it, is to having it work with multiple sin resonances as it gives a small buff to more general team and more to specific ones. But in the end, I don't think PM had ever changed any of there EGO abilities in the pass except for sin cost and sanity, (Sunflower was a special case as it moved from HE to WAW), were not going to get any new gregor WAW EGO any time soon so I guess we can try to make the most of it. Right now I'm trying to see if I can incorporate the extra slash damage into other teams to see how it goes. I appreciate it that you took your time and explaining your ideas to me, it gave me a lot of food for thought when I'm going through Mirror Dungeon brainrot.

A very hard to use EGO, very expensive and 6+ resonance is only possible with Lust in Focused encounter I do think this EGO WILL find a use when the last 2 Kurokumo ID gets added As of now the Team goes like this Kurokumo Greg(Sloth and Gloom) Kurokumo Rodion(Gloom and Pride) Hook Office Hong Lu(Wrath and Pride) Kurokumo Ryoshu(Gluttony) R Corp Meur(Envy) N Faust(Envy) Captain Ishmael is usable as of now(Pride and Envy but 0 Lust) but in the future she(Who might be a 2 Sin Affinity like BL Meur) and Heathcliff(Which i hope gets Wrath, Lust, and Envy) will be the one getting the last 2 Kurokumo ID
