Been lookin at one for my fmx bike. Def dont need it for fmx.... but couldn't hurt. And lowers rev range from what ive heard. Wich isn't bad at all for ramp tramping. More torque early on. Less top end. Maybe after I do a self programmable cdi box and shit ill do that

A smaller combustion chamber = more compression. This head probably reduces the squish distance and increases squish velocity also.

Don't see how a cylender head on 2 stroke wood make a difference exsept shape and compression what does offer just higher compression than stoke the read valeves on 2 stroke and the tuned muffler were power comes from I understand if was 4 stroke head but what does the head do thanks

Absolutely not. Most bikes need 2.5-3.5cm of play. Chain gets tighter higher the wheel goes.

Hello Avelino, this is indeed a standard engine with only VHM cylinder head (incl. VHM insert off course) and HGS exhaust. Furthermore, it is tested with Ecomaxx fuel.

Hi! It's a standard cylinder indeed. We've only changed certain components compared to standard bike: our VHM head, insert, HGS exhaust. In addition, this test was done using Ecomaxx fuel.

We measure on the rear wheel, but add a small correction factor (0.05PK/Kmh) for the crankshaft. So the graphs in the video's show the power on the crank.

how can it be only 23hp? my last years vike was a yz125 with tuned culinder vhm head other cdi with mapping hgs exhaust and it had 42,6 hp

Hi! In the graph at the end you can see that the HP with the stock engine (including HGS exhaust) is 41,5 and with the VHM head included it's 43.1HP. Might not be exactly comparable with other dyno tests, but the result between our tests can be compared (same day, same dyno).
