Testing my Kayak for the first time, what went wrong?

In this video, I loaded my Kayak onto the roof of my car and drover to Cambridge. This is the first time I used my Kayak from Cambridge Kayaks and it performed beautifully. The Kayak was smooth and fast in the water. I started my journey from Jesus Green in Cambridge and made my way along the River up to the outskirts of Granchester.
