Hi, my first language is Spanish and I speak fluently English and live in La. I also would’ve translated the sentences as you did ! I was really impressed on how your think in Spanish. It’s a very intricate way, you know already a lot and it’s intensive Spanish. I think the app or website where you’re learning from asks you for a more natural translation rather than a literal one. But I also like to translate very literal because to me if I don’t it’s another whole different sentence just like I saw they were correcting you for in the sentences. Also you right , there’s many ways to translate it . Good job tho.

@@HazyDayzPlayz I’m about to be on unit 3 of basics. I took it for 2 years in high school and thought I wouldn’t remember anything but it’s all coming together!

@@josiereigle3429 I was exactly the same with Italian from primary school! It's so cool how your brain just unlocks a part of itself when it's prompted and primed correctly 😊😊 Same thing when I stopped doing Japanese for a couple of years too

As a spanish speaker I would have translated all these however I felt like talking honestly. I never say someone leans out the window, I just say they look out the window, you get the picture if not I don't care. Btw, amazing job at learning all those insane irregular verbs! It's easier to speak Spanish and learn English than the other way around. This comment was sponsored by Grammarly and Hemingway editor

6:09 you were right but you changed the AMOUNT of nerviousness, the senteced said "a lil" and you put "a lot", the sentence itself is right but you should have used "se ponía un poco nervioso"
