In this video I split some wood with a Hytest and plumb usa Axes I've just hung. I also have a gossip about the chainsaw world and where new saws are headed. @elemental4rce is the handle maker. Can't wait to get some more from him!

@@walkerscountrylife definitely will be getting some of his asap but am skint atm so gonna have to make some, I've got some oak stock and a few patterns to work with.. I think I was treating them a bit harshly tbh, too many back strikes

@@tbruce-sawsandsplitting making your own 🙌 though if you can find some ash I think that might be more suitable?

Nice! I don't know anything about axes really. I've just got a ratty old splitting maul whose head is about to fall off. I agree about Stihl continuing to develop. It's a shame about husky, I think what they do they do really well. They gave aways been big heavy powerhouses which is awesome. Even the t540xp top handles are big brutes. There's alot of talk about the new t540xp III which looks awesome. Their battery t540i is also excellent.

We need to get you a nice Tassie! Yeah I certainly don't think husky are over yet for sure! Thanks for your help yesterday, really appreciate it.

@@walkerscountrylifeMy pleasure mate! I hope it was actually useful and I didn't just get in the way. Yea considering how much I have used that maul it probably would be worth getting a good splitting axe.

Maybe . . A nice Oak chopping block in the future 😜

Maybe mate!! You mean a kitchen board or a splitting block?

A wood splitter would not be therapeutic, I love splitting Oak especially the unique smell it has. As you know I have only recently bought a Stihl and the power to weight was the deciding factor. I remember 15 years ago, I chose a Husqvarna 353 for the same reason. Maybe next year Husqvarna will introduce something new.

Let husky loose and bought out like KTM did. It's gonna happen. The people that run husky are dumb.
