I'm hoping we can make the 1.75" versions happen for next season as well, the interest definitely seems to be there for them!

Currently working with the supplier getting those finalized and into production, we'll have them before you know it!

I'm thinking of going to something like that on my xcr, currently running 125 pound springs, they are great but at times a bit stiff on smooth trail
@MunsonMotorsports9 ай бұрын
125lb straight rate is up there, if you're hammering tug hill moguls all day at speed they're probably not too bad though! We're hoping to have these readily available before next season gets started.

I never understood cross country skiers and snowshoers being mad at snowmobilers when they are on an active trail. The trails are paid for by snowmobile registrations and maintained by snowmobile clubs. Yet those entitled people think the snowmobiles shouldn't be on them.

Does it matter which end of the spring is up? I would have thought that the tight end should be up to be like crossover springs. Would those work in the back country mountains for a polaris RMK?
@MunsonMotorsports9 ай бұрын
Orientation of the spring does not matter as the spring simply gets compressed and doesn't know the difference. I mounted the tighter winding on the bottom for a little extra shaft protection due to the ice chunks/debris I encounter when following closely. If the shock is a 2" version then I would assume they'll fit, but I cannot say for sure in regards to fitment or how well they would perform for back country stuff as that type of riding and setup is a bit outside my wheel house. I'm sure some of the theories and strategies are a bit different for that type of riding than the trail stuff I mainly focus on.

What carbides are you running?
@MunsonMotorsports9 ай бұрын
On both my sleds I’m running the stock ProSteer ski with SnowStuds Magnum 6” carbides and Woodys Navigators. This setup has been a great middle ground/broad spectrum setup for me. There are certainly more aggressive setups for the softer snow days, but to cover 90% of my riding days this setup works very well for me.

Making them for 1.75" ever?
@kwmiked9 ай бұрын
None of these trails are really bumpy, those were like stock shock trails, didn’t skidoo use to use those type of springs. The tight wind was always to bottom
@MunsonMotorsports9 ай бұрын
I'll have a fix for the lack of terrain definition next season, trails are often way worse than the POV camera lets on. They weren't 2 foot moguls, but they weren't smooth either. Exit's probably would have been overkill 🥴
