If you’re considering Paint Protective Film (PPF), I would recommend getting it sooner rather than later. Reason being is that if you’re going to use a PPF to protect the paint from rock chips and other things, then you want to put it on before you get any in the first place. Keep up the world dude.👍

@Rick Steezy Depends on how long you expect to keep the vehicle. You'd never get the ppf investment return if you sell it after 5 years... Not to mention it will need to be stripped and re-applied in the future as it yellows over time. It's cheaper just to touch up the paint chips as they come..

A cool trick that you can do with your odor eliminator is to turn on your ac on recirculation mode and spray onto the passenger footwell

The reason it was difficult to get off was because you caked it on there 😂 typically with those products it’s 1 or 2 sprays on the micro fiber towel for a whole panel and a nice thin even layer.

Ceramic coatings are no joke man! That’s what I specialize in. As a detailer I highly recommend getting a pressure washer cause most of the scratches that come up on your car are from not enough of the contaminates being rinsed off in the pre rinse process. So when washing by hand, essentially your just moving all those contaminates around the car.

@@The_Kirk_Lazarus having ceramic would definitely help. As far as pre rinsing goes, if u have ceramic, dirt and debris will come off easier but still would recommend using a pressure washer

@@The_Kirk_Lazarus it’s okay to use. I would recommend not using a pressure washer with 3000psi or more especially on older vehicles tho. Any where 2000-2500 is fine

If u clay bar your windows on the cobra 1st, then it'll be much smoother. Over time, windows collect little metals and other deposits u can't see, making them much rougher also wears your wipers out faster than it would after clay bar I have an 03 Gt I did this too, and it made the windows look 1000 percent better

I found nothing goes over a cermaic coating very clean other than a simple ceramic booster. Anything else I use tends to streak, I got the same results you got on the type R.

Please update us in 3 days when those Shine products wear off! Honestly tried them and they were absolute garbage compared to anything else I’ve tried. They leave nasty films on your ceramic coating and make it worse. Adam’s, chemical guys, and Meguiars make much better products. Not trying to be rude, just trying to give tips! And yes do clear PPF wrap ASAP and not later. I hesitated to do mine and after I clicked 5k on the odometer, I wish I would have done it when I first got it and not cheaped out.

I've got a deep blue metallic paint on my 08 350z. I had a bottle given to me (brand new) and tested it on my rear bumper. Followed by instructions, but it was streaking and I was unable to polish the streaks out. It was bad. I had to go over it with my Bowden's Own, Fully Slick. That fixed it. I'll stick with Bowden's Own stuff.. Thank you for the video. I have viewed several and no one has had the streaking problem??? Cheers mate (Australia 🇦🇺)

Tbh, that product seemed terrible. I think the reason the Type R's windshield beaded so well was because of the ceramic coating, not the shine armor. Great video though!

Have you tried the 2 bucket method? My sister has a 2019 black SI and the swirls are just bad. Very bad. But I'm sure the ceramic coated helps prevent that. I'll probably be doing ceramic coating mine soon. Great video!

Aye bro, invest in an EZ detail wheel brush. Cleaning behind your front brakes will be way easier. Any detailing questions you may have I’d be happy to answer. Been detailing for 12 years now.

Also, when removing the glass coating, use a spray bottle with water to help you remove the coating. If you want an easy to use spray coating, try Gyeon Can Coat. Make sure to follow the instructions to a T and apply out of direct sunlight to a cool panel.

I find that the best way to remove those streaks is to go back over the car with a spray bottle with only water in it and spray the streaked areas and wipe them down with a dry towel.
