I well remember The Flintstones. All names had to do with a type of stone. Their neighbors were the Rubbles. Baby girl was Pebbles. Fred an pal Barney worked at The Granite company (I think) Their name The Flintstone's had to do with FLINT a type of stone. They lived in the town of Bedrock. I even know the entire theme song to the show. Loved the show.

Funny, when I saw the logo on screen, the extra T looked weird, but on the other hand, it makes sense to be Flint, as it is a stone. Flin makes no sense. Still went with it, as the T in the logo bothered me. But now I see it written in your comment, it looks absolutely right with the T 🤯

I think this one has more to do with the way Americans pronounce words. I'm sure this happens in other languages as well, but since we're talking about an American show....well, anyway. People tend to be lazy when speaking. Most don't enunciate properly which can lead to misspellings. Think about it... enviroment vs environment; expresso vs espresso; perscription vs prescription; etc. Thus, a lot of kids grew up not pronouncing the "T" in Flintstone. @chrismacdonald7955, even you used the word "an" instead of "and" when typing, "Fred an pal Barney...". I've noticed using "an" instead of "and" has been the tendency for the last decade or so. I'm not sure, but maybe that has to do more with social media and messaging shorthand than anything else. I'd love to find out what others think about that. Sorry I've been long winded! ☺

I always thought this color was an aqua blue/green color, though oddly I also remember it as a brown color too. Do some people not remember that? Edit: I just googled, and he worked for some other company that gave away money? I definitely remember him giving money away, but yeah maybe it wasn't for PCH. I was a kid; I guess it could've been a different company. I just remember him saying you could be a winner! Lol :) 13) Tom Cruise in Risky Business - sunglasses or no? (again - referenced in movie Never Been Kissed contradicting what is claimed) ... No clue. He probably wore sunglasses somewhere in the movie, but goodness I don't remember a specific scene with him wearing a pair. He definitely wore sunglasses in Top Gun. Can't really remember any in Risky Business though but wouldn't doubt he had some on. I've only seen this movie a few times over the decades since it came out, so I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of scenes in this one.

This was so interesting! I was wrong on most of them. And Jess did say A was the Silver Leg on C3PO and B was both Gold. I Googled C3PO and he was built with a silver leg, but there are several images of him having both gold legs. I also looked up the Fruit of the Loom logo and I saw that the company was brought through bankruptcy and somethings were changes...maybe that's when the cornucopia thing was removed?? There were some pics of t-shirts like Jess mentioned with it. I didn't know much about the Mandela Effect so I'm glad you guys did this one. Good job!

For spelling ones, It's most likley due to how we speak vs words. Like soap for example. We don't pronounce it like so-app, it's sope. Flintstones, the t seems to be silent cause the t in stones is prominent. A thing that might cause this are forein people who pronounce words as spelt where people who grew up with english made it silent. Donno though, It's just a theory I have. (also dyslexia is a thing so this could also be another reason) I've had it happen to me personaly with sword. I pronounce it sowrd. Others say sword. Take it I swap letters around sometimes or they just don't appear at all to me, so words are often mispelt or mispronounced

Well, the reason they did is because it's a mass effect. If one person was saying Mandela died in prison, and the whole rest of the world was saying he didn't, we'd all just say that one guy was misremembering. But when about half the world population remembers him dying in prison and the other half doesn't (I remember him being freed), it's weird and so they gave it a name. It's not mass hysteria, but it's along the same lines where a wide swath of people have the same experience that others don't.

Sinbad was indeed the principal actor of the film "Shazam" in 1989. He finally admitted it( Google it the video of him admitting it while being interviewed for New Jersey 101.5 FM). He stated he was a ,"crackhead that needed crack money, I denied it and tried to bury it because I had no Geanie skills". Which honestly I find sad. I was a young kid in '89. I saw the movie and enjoyed it. Was it Oscar worthy? Of course not. Did it bring smiles to the faces of untold amounts of kiddos? Absolutely! And those kiddos and parents were happy. No need to be embarrassed or fib about it. Even know many of us wish a Geanie and 3 wishes were true. It's not a Madela Effect issue. It's an issue of a man just starting out in acting, struggling with the disease of addiction, embarrassed about a gig he took. Which makes me sad for two reasons. 1st because addiction is it's own special kind of hell. 2nd it was a kids film that was well loved and well received for it's time. His cover up was wasted energy. Why? Because he did a good job. I mean geesh even Arnold S. Acted in some kids films back in the day that were well received, yet in 2023 might be considered cringe worthy.

The alternate tagline for Ricky in I love Lucy came from a comedy routine of another comedian. I believe it may have been Eddy Murphy that said it in Delirious. I'm sure that's where we got it from.
