They really do react differently with a nice solid hookset don't though. A sambo would be sweet, just be mindful of the ferry markers 😉

Nah this was my first t curve premium. I later purchased another one but in the 4-8kg for jew.

Rod looks awesome. But it perfect with that fast action. Lots of action on the top of the water. You ever try surface lures in that spot?

It drops off a meter or two from the rockwall so I haven't had much luck there on topwater. I prefer shallow water for surface lures. Early mornings in the summer against the sides might produce.

@@GoldenHourFishing I was thinking that watching. I don’t fish much heavier than 4lb these days unless it’s crazy structure and the fish ain’t shy. If you can catch em on heavier definitely the way to go 👌 save yourself some lures and tears 😂

Hey mate, how’d you find the rod? Is casting distance alright on the smaller soft plastics? What size fish do you reckon you could go up to on the 2-5kg? I’m thinking of grabbing the same rod. Cheers

Its my favourite rod for 2-3 inch plastics. Casting distance is fine, no issues. Size fish? Hmmm Ive caught a legal kingfish, couple of soapies, heaps of sambos, but its mainly a bream rod. The rod isnt the issue, it will be the line that dictates the size of the fish. I will say its easier to turn a fishes head due to its fast taper.

@@GoldenHourFishing I’ve got the 7 foot zodias 1-3kg for bream and was thinking of getting either the t curve 2-5 or 3-6 and running a 3000 compact with 12-15 pound for pinky snapper, tailor and maybe some smaller king fish. Just trying to determine what rod would be better for that.
