im really glad we are getting new RTS games that are similar in format to WC and SC... I cant pin point it but for some reason SG and ZS are just missing that IT factor, maybe its the unit design I'm not sure.

The concepts and art of the Infernals look so much better than the Vanguard, in my opinion. Even though it seems like they've put much more hours into developing the Vanguard, I'm not feeling them yet

Imagine if you're already an RTS fan and you can't be bothered imagine how little interest fans of other genres will have. Art Direction is THE First and maybe LAST impression people have of your game, it's important

I undestand it's an alpha and I think there are good ideas in the mix, especially on the Intefernal side, but I sooo don't like the WC style. I cannot stand how the Brute looks like a fat joke and the Vanguard units are so generic and mid, the only good one they have is the Vulcan. I also think that the size is all too much the same and the Infernal units just dont have the presence of Zergs. If I think about the Viper, the Infestor or the Ultralisk, those units are amazing, I just don't have the same feel for the units in Stormgate, the style is so off putting. I also miss spellcasters, hard to balance, I know, but still iconic and fun. I wish you the best guys, I'll try the beta and formulate a more tough out opinion. But please improve the art style.

@@twisteraustralus Zerospace does looks better. Still, would be nice to have better art in Stormgate too. I'm sure the game will be fun but it is so underwhelming to look at. It's not even 'cartony' anymore, it looks like toys.

Im glad both are coming out and I hope they breath fresh live into RTS as a whole. but still for me its just missing something.
