The Breeze Airways Nicer seat is the perfect choice for anyone who wants something a little better than a basic economy seat, but is unwilling to shell out the big bucks for a fancy seat.
As the name implies, it is indeed nicer than the basic economy seat. Not by much though. The main difference is legroom. Priority boarding is also included, which will almost certainly guarantee a spot in the overhead bin for your carry-on bag.
This is a full review of Breeze Airways flight number 543 from LAX to MSY. Total flying time was 3 hours and 40 minutes, I had seat number 6F, and the aircraft registration was N215BZ. It was nice.

I just did roundtrip flight in "nicer" seats from LAX to Richmond. "Nicer seats" right behind "Nicest" seats are amazing, so much room! I'm a 6'11 guy and based on this trip, this is now my favorite airline! Great experience, super nice staff from check in to flight service, and no crazy fees for better seats like you get with mainstream airlines. Also, Wi-Fi was solid 8MBs, fastest/most reliable experience I've had on an airline and only $8 for entire flight that my rewards covered. Mainstream airlines typically charge much more with a fee per hour even.

Most of the A220s will have Wifi by the end of the year. The E190/195s have onboard IFE accessed through your phones wifi.

I'm going to be taking this exact flight next week in the nicer seats and was excited to see how your expierence was as this will be my first Breeze flight. I'm disapointed the pland does not have WIFI yet as I was hoping this one would be one of the planes that got it, but atleast I know I need to download some entertainment to my tablet before my flight.

I had planned to fly from BDL to ORF in April heading to OBX and vlog it as I had seen ZERO reviews on YT at that point. At least on the A220. Sadly, they switched to a different A220 with fewer Nicer seats and they bumped me to a Nice seat without giving me any refund or recourse. Only the promise of giving me some points for a future flight. I'd still get free bags as part of the deal, but I was quite a bit disappointed. I ended up working the Boston marathon instead and flew on Delta 1st class that night instead, landing in Norfolk at midnight. Still haven't flown Breeze. Not sure I ever will.

If you look at the other Breeze A220 at the gate when you were taxiing out of the gates in LAX, it had Wi-Fi. Notice the satellite receiver on the top. Looks like their starting to install Wi-Fi on their planes.

I can’t wait to take my first flight on Breeze Airways. They truly look like the nicest airline next to JetBlue. I also recommend you try out the cool Canadian airline Porter and their new E195-E2. The Porter E195-E2 is brand spanking new from Embraer in there E Jet series. And is powered by those quiet PW engines. If you’re willing to try a seat on this airline with a new plane, try Porter Reserve. The only spot with more legroom seats.

Nice review. i agree the "Nicer" seat is the best choice especially if you don't care for the perks of the "Nicest" seat. I think Breeze is a great airline and for shorter flights is perfectly acceptable.

Way back in the late 1970s I flew with Skytrain from a terminal in LAX to London Gatwick which was situated way out in the boondocks. Such was its location that it wasn't until I got to what was the main LAX terminal at the time that I discovered I had to take a cab over to the far terminal. Luckily I shared the cost of the transfer with another confused passenger. Where might that terminal have been anyone?

How do I connect between terminals at LAX? If you need to travel between terminals at LAX, hop on the terminal shuttle that runs in a counter-clockwise loop stopping at each terminal. You can pick up the shuttle from outside each terminal on the lower level under the blue signs “LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections” with a picture of a bus. May 29, 2023 (Google) You can call and ask about it before your flight, then you'll know. The shuttle I use was in Philly, it was flawless. It uses a lane on the tarmac. Lots of changes with Covid everywhere so it's worth calling in to be sure.

I have to deduct 1 star from your review off the top for omitting the A220 wookie/spool up/whale song sound. As a resident of the MSY area, I'm happy to see Breeze come in. It's opened up a lot of new non stop destinations for us. I'm trying them for the first time in a few weeks on MSY to RDU. I paid $114 round trip for the basic nice seat with no baggage allowance.

Hi Scott, I can touch on the IFE situation at Breeze since I work for them. The Embraers all have entertainment through a WiFi system but no internet connectivity, the newer 220s starting with N217BZ are equipped with WiFi and the plan is to equip all the 220s with WiFi by the end of next year if I recall correctly.
