Testing Out The Milwaukee M18 Brush Cutter Attachment

I got a generic brush cutting blade from amazon that looks like a circ saw blade for my gas trimmer and that things a beast. It is a bit sketchy feeling but works well. Make sure you dont start your cuts between the 9 and 12 oclock area of the blade spinning as it tends to kick back. Im sure you've seen the project farm videos but he has 2 reviews of these brush cutter style blades . Be safe

It's worth noting that the hedge trimmer attachment can also cut down brushwood (branches up to 3/4" diameter), grass, brambles, etc, and can perform almost the same function as the brush cutter attachment.

Yea... I tried that and it didn't take too well to thick spongey planet branches. Going to buy the brush cutter and see if I see a difference.

I just bought this brushcutter attachment today, and it works pretty well. I even trim small tree branches with it.

You could 3D print a holder for the wrench that mounts on the shaft of it

I think I’ll print one that holds the wrench and “head removal tool” together, but not on the shaft. A rubber band works fine, but a small 3D print carries information that there is something missing when they get separated.

Try putting a circular saw style blade on a trimmer, you will love what you will cut through? It will almost cut down up to 2-3" sapplings like butter? You don't need a pole saw anymore?

Ok, I'm Confused...it's just a piece of the trimmer ? Instead of the stupid wires... Love the old idea, like they were when I was a kid.. How can I get the entire ensemble ?

Those things are uber dangerous, My experience with these brush cutters are that they function ok on very small twigs. I have tried both that type of blade and the saw type blade both of which are long gone in the trash. Just something to sell.
