I love all K1 plastic, royal grand, and supreme… any review of that plastic will get my attention. I’m thinking about building a bag out of all that plastic for consistent feel/grip. Nice video! Keep it up!

Love the videos! I feel like we have similar throwing styles so its great to see your reviews. That sweep is looking pretty money.

I’m glad you’re enjoying them! Yeah, it’s a pretty nice thrower for sure.

Love these videos and appreciate your time. You got me to start throwing a Lobster and I love it. I’d make a whole video on different ways to throw it. Super useful. If you’re ever looking for the putter version of it almost identical in flight and handfeel it’s the Prodigy PA-5

Nice! Thanks for watching and yes, Lobster on different lines would be a super fun video.

I got a K1 Göte about a year ago. For me, it is a straight as an arrow mid-range. When you are trying Kastaplast, you should try one out.

Heck yeah. I’m gonna get one.

The peak and the pixel certainly compliment your putting style, very drift and glide right to left. I learned to putt from watching Ricky Videos and need something that's gonna drop faster at the end of it's flight. Anodes and (premium plastic) Spins have worked well for me.
@PartTimeDiscGolfКүн бұрын
I need to try those!

You mentioned that you're working on your forehand form. Here's some unsolicited advice: the forehand, just like the backhand operates like a whip. Think about using your body in this order to use the whip: 1. Reach your throwing arm and hand back, cocking your wrist back. 2. Step forward with your off foot and plant that foot with toes pointing slightly inward (don't step too far, keep your balance) 2. Start turning your hips. 3. Drive your elbow forward, lagging slightly behind your hips. 4. Drive your wrist forward, lagging slightly behind your elbow. 5. Snap your wrist forward, lagging slightly behind your wrist movement. Start this with a simple jab step. Focus first on getting the order correct. Once the order is down you can increase the speed and strength of your hip movement and wrist snap to add more power. Once you've maxed out that, add a small run up to add more momentum to the hip turn. Your arm (elbow) movement will naturally increase to catch up to the hip movement, but don't let it get ahead. You should feel your hips pulling your arm forward just before you start driving it forward as well. To control nose angle move your thumb forward on the disc to throw nose down. For a max distance shot you want to give a flippy driver lots of hyzer, height, and nose down. - Sincerely, a 350-400ft forehand thrower who doesn't get elbow pain anymore.

I have peak and pixel in my bag right now. Definitely comparable, but I think peak has a bit more stability in that stuff plastic.
@PartTimeDiscGolfКүн бұрын
Agreed. That stability is nice for hanging it out wide and you know it will come back. Pixels are just dead straight.

Enjoyed the video, thanks Jeremy! The Sweep is looking quite interesting - how does it feel compared to the Jade you had on in your last video? I have a Jade myself but haven't thrown it in a bit. I'll have to give it another go.
@PartTimeDiscGolf2 күн бұрын
Thanks. I would say the numbers are gonna end up being 9 5 -1 2. So it’s a bit for stable than the Jade. Pretty close to the eclipse Lift.

That forehand disc your looking for is called the PROTON TRACE You can play the entire game with the trace. Walk into it thinking you have a undertaker & a Thunderbird. When you want the play of the undertaker your getting that flip When you want that S turn of the Thunderbird the trace will do that . Backhand and forehand bomber

That's a great tip! I need to try the Trace.

what's the story behind the name "part time disc golf"?
@PartTimeDiscGolf9 сағат бұрын
I went “Pro” and thought about doing the whole touring route etc… Then I was reminded that I have a Job and a Family to take care of. So I decided to focus on disc reviews. At the time, there were not many people doing decent reviews that actually showed the disc flights and how they fly being thrown properly. I felt like the name Part Time expressed how I am not a full time KZbinr and I am just doing this when I can. Just like a lot of my friends, we all have jobs and lives and disc golf if our part time life.
