As a kid growing up on a farm in Oregon, my favorite place was in the trees, or on the rooftop. I'm jealous of Keke's climbing skills! 😂 She is clearly born for the trees. That prehensile tail/5th arm is incredibly handy, whether a monkey is trying to reach fruits and leaves, or safely travel in the canopy. As much as she loves exploring, she comes running back to mama for reassurance regularly. These are sweet videos to watch. Thank you for sharing her and the dogs with us.

What a treat for fancy pants Keke, love how she's always looking back to make sure Mama is still there. This outing reminds me of when Caesar from the Planet of the Apes movie when he's taken to the Redwoods for the first time. Looking at all the tall trees in amazement then taking off running and climbing one tree after another. Keke is the spider with all the gifts, bet her siblings are gonna be sooooo jealous when she tells them about her adventure! 😎

For those times like the cut at 1:29 is she coming to you for reassurance? Big open territory can be a little daunting! If so, bless the rascal she is just a sweet little soul! Having spent a little time around spiders (100's) and caps (menthol shorts) tells me it's equally possible she just wanted to practice a kickflip off your thigh real quick then motorboat your left pocket for 1.5 seconds (again, nothing to eat there it seems) before just sending it into a random tumble landing that looked like she meant to biff it. They always do mean it. Spiders are that good. Their tail alone provides them with 1.8 Cirque du of CHAOS DEX (that's more than 38 whole Wichita Linemen. Such a hoot. I use to do this with a rather large iguana I had. Izzy would pick up red mites from the trees.. True story.. Had Izzy our very large pet iguana on the kitchen table on a towel and I was applying olive oil to suffocate red mites. My friend who is from Mexico walked into the house and observed me oiling the lizard, His reply was "You only need to do the tail the rest taste like crap.
