TESTING PATRICK KANE'S PRO STOCK CURVE!!!

True Hockey custom made me a Patrick Kane curve. If you watch him closely, you'll see that his blade lies very different than most NHLers which I thought would help out certain stickhandling moves. After using it for 3 week, I am blown away! It's the best ALL AROUND curve I've ever used. It supports so many fundamental stickhandling skills and doesn't sacrifice the backhand.

HUGE THANKS TO TRUE HOCKEY! I asked them if it was possible and they put me in contact with their factory and they called me and custom made the blade to be exactly like Kane's, and I got to customize the name, round off the edges of the stick, blade stiffness, flex, and length! First and only time I'll be treated like a pro! Seriously in love with this curve and the XC9 stick!

Did you go for a stiffer blade to get more response from the puck? How did you customize it and why? Enjoy the stick, I'll have to keep using my 6 lie pp26 sher-wood; wish they'd offer a 7 lie in retail, keeping up with the trends in the game, but I guess that would only confuse the average consumer and hurt sales...

Watching the Hawks all these years I always thought Kane's curve looked just like a Easton Lidstrom curve or the newer warrior Lidstrom or Bauer P2 curve. I guess they are similar in that they have the really square toe & are longer then normal blades. I also believe those curves came w/ a 7 lie or at least a 6 lie. That pro stock Kane curve definitely isn't as open & has more toe then the Lidstrom stock or other retail curves like it. While the Lidstrom curve is more open & has more curve in the heel. Never really liked heel curves. Would like to try that pro stock curve as I like just about any curve that has a toe kink to it. Incidentally the true xc9 is the stick I'm about to buy.

Hey Pavel. Like others have asked in the comments, how similar is Kane's actual curve to the Bauer P02 curve? Looks like Kane's curve may be a mid curve and the P02 a heel curve? They are both lie 7 with a similar looking profile. It would be much appreciated if you'd provide a comparison.

Ive been playing with TRUE sticks and gloves for this season. Get a hold of a XC9 or a A6.0 and you wont be disappointed. TRUE is making some quality twigs for sure!

Me and my bud been playing since we were 9 and now we gotten pretty good we can easily make junior c but idk if that leagues for benders or not,if we wanted to make junior b or higher would working out be the best option and alot of practice drills guarantee a spot on a roster? Im like a rantanen/backstrom hybrid when it comes to making a 5 star sauce and gets the occasional bar down,and my bud is like a laine/semin hybrid when it comes to shooting, ankles are kinda bendy without a full roll of ankle tape.
