I'm working class. I work 40 hours a week and lucky to take home 13,000 a year. Not a hope I can afford £30 for a bottle of foundation. I leave every morning at 6 am and come home at 8pm. I am far from a pyjama wearer. I would make more being on high rate dla in the UK but don't.

kmac1809 I agree. I think a video doing the same look twice is really interesting - high end makeup with high end vs budget brushes or budget makeup with high end vs budget brushes. I think a good brush makes all the difference.

You are the first person who has made Poundland makeup work. It looks so good 😊 Also you made such a good point- the Revolution Stick Foundation is 1 hours work for a 16 year old, The Revlon Colour stay is about three hours work and as for something like Mac studio fix, it’s something like five hours. FIVE HOURS that almost one day of work 😮. some people can only afford very cheap make up. And it’s nice that that a influencer is is finally showing people that you can make cheap makeup work. So thank you 😃 💕

I've been trying to tell people how good the Poundland lipsticks are!! Honestly disappointed in myself because I bought a nyx soft matte lip cream and then I realised it was so similar to the Poundland ones I already had. Might have to get that brow kit tho

Definitely the best Poundland makeup review I've seen. You apply the makeup the same to actually give a similar review rather than purposely make Poundland look bad and you remind us that although it's not the best, it only costs a pound! Plus, you look amazing in the end like when you were applying the bronzer I was thinking it would turn out terrible but that final look is on point! You go, girl!

I feel like this kind of stuff is perfect for young teenagers (like we used to with dream matte mousse, Barry m and mua) and they learn to make them work before they start getting more money and buying make up rev, then up to more expensive products. I think the bronzer was nice (doubt theg make it in my shade tho)

So refreshing when people review makeup with those who don’t have much money or teens in mind. I used to work for like £550 a month and 270 of that was my rent. And I don’t know about anyone else but all my makeup always runs out at the same time, so it was always a £30-40 shop in Superdrug at once and it’s a big chunk when you don’t earn much. (That god for their 3 for 2 offers when they’re on)

I use Poundland foundation everyday and as long as you get a shade lighter than your colour it oxidisers to your natural colour and the coverage is actually good

I think you looked good at the end. I've personally found through trial and error that primer and foundation is what you're best spending a little more money on to get better quality. Cheaper powders, concealers and lip and eye makeup products can at times be fine.
